Bill Clinton is not capable of telling the truth. Byrd was a member of the KKK and a very powerfull member at that. History dont change just because Bill says so. I did not have sexual realations with that woman. Oral sex is not sex. what is the meaning of is? Anything Bill says is BULLSHIT and you can count on that.
Byrd was a coward avoiding military service (like Clinton) during WWII and joined the KKK instead. He was a KKK member for over 10 years rising to the rank of 'Exalted Cyclops', so this was alot more than just a "fleeting association".
This is a new low for Billy Boy and the dimocrap party.

Party like it's 1773, eh? Oh yeah, people were much more respectful to black people then.

People, get the fuck over it, byrd is dead and he was a miserable racist pile of shit liberal. Why is it when a POS liberal dies other liberals need to mention how great they were even if they were not. And now we have Mr. impeached telling us what is right.
@makeinstall President Clinton was impeached only because the GOP controlled House voted to. There were votes put up to check the legitimacy of the impeachment, but it was voted down, thus rendering his impeachment illegitimate.
Lol, he said "white niggers" you retarded neocon. These actually exist. Are you either pretending to be retarded, or are you truly this ignorant?
@StoogeWatcher Are you fucking dense? We don't "worship" a former Klansman. Byrd was a changed man. Because he is unable to go back and time and undo his actions, he can only move on and make up for it. Besides the KKK membership, he actually was a very good, intelligent, true Senator deserving of respect. And if he saw the two parties supporting legislation that hurt freedom and would destroy the country (i.e., the Patriot Act), he always put the Constitution first.
WTF are you talking about? Clinton was Impeached for of perjury to a grand jury.
But you just keep pretending its R vs D when it was actually a liar vs. the Grand Jury.
Lets see Senator Byrd actually used the word nigger and putting white in front of it doesn't change its meaning when it is referring to black people. You libs are so fucking pathetic. Now your defending racial slurs by racist like Byrd and liars like Clinton.
@makeinstall But you see, had it been a legitimate crime, Clinton would have been impeached by an overwhelming, bipartisan majority. Lying about your affairs really isn't enough to be removed from public office. He shouldn't have been impeached, plain and simple. The problem is that Republicans are jealous of Clinton's achievements- why else do they bash on him more than any other Democrat? It's just jealousy and bitterness.
@makeinstall Haha. Uh, no. A "nigger" is someone who is of "an unapproved manner," or "a badass." This attitude occurs in every ethnicity. There are white niggers, black niggers, Hispanic niggers... everything. It's just directed more towards black people because of the word's origin.
Say what you want about Clinton. But it wasn't Reagan who brought us a billion dollar surplus and inspired peace and getting the best out of a global and capitalistic economy.
You are such a tool, can you show me at what point after Clinton did our National debt go positive. OR better yet show me at what point our national deficit went positive. I'll give you a clue it never did. The so-called positive deficit numbers were more left wing spin and like the tool you are you fell for it.
@makeinstall You're a moron. No where did I say I was a "Klans man," you fucking retard. Because you're blind and only get news from Sean Manatee (I think that's his name), you are ignorant of the fact that we had a BILLION DOLLAR SURPLUS at the end of his presidency.
Oh yeah. It must be left wing spin. Because if it's an accomplish the Democrats put together, it must not have been an accomplishment at all. You're full of it. Partisan hack. Fuck yourself.
The total national debt increased by $281 billion during 98-2000. The Public Debt and yearly deficits were paid down by borrowing money from the Social Security fund, rather than borrowing directly from the public. Clinton did not achieve a surplus and he did not leave President Bush with a surplus. Growing deficits began with a $133 billion deficit in the last Clinton budget, not in the first budget of the Bush administration.
@makeinstall The national debt actually went down during Clinton's terms, and he balanced the budget. This is no surprise, as he managed to do the same thing several times as Governor of Arkansas. And you can still have a surplus without being out of a debt. If you want to deny it, that's fine, but you're denying history and are a part of the problem with the lack of intelligence in this country. You fail at basic economics, so I recommend reading a little more on it.
@VoiceHunter you know why the economy flourished you clown? when the republicans took back the house and whipped clinot into shape. but anyway what are your thought on clinton sticking up for Byrd's racism? would clinton feel the same way if it was a republican? be honest now. Obama and Clinton defending a Former KKK (at age 30) and a guy who voted against the civil rights act at age 47!! byrd was a racist ku klux klan bigot and it is horrible for them to defend that
@bmyze316 Ah, of course. The surplus all goes to the credit of the Republicans. Never mind the fact that seldom does a Congress override a veto of a bill if the President doesn't approve of it, BUT THE REPUBLICANS GET ALL THE CREDIT. Honestly, anything to give your party credit, whether they controlled Congress or the presidency. You are so fucking full of it.
@bmyze316 Clinton was never "sticking up" for Byrd's actions of the past, but simply explaining why he did it. Nothing wrong with that. Stating a fact isn't racism at all. Explaining a person's motives isn't racism at all. You just like playing the race card. All these actions are in the past. Byrd apologized. He cannot go back in time and change it, so instead he worked hard to redeem himself. I believe anyone who is willing to do this is worthy of forgiveness.
@VoiceHunter I am talking about the double standard. What happened when Trent Lott said he voted for strom thurmond to make thurmond feel good? Thurmond being a former segregationist. He was forced to step down from being senate majority leader! just for making an old guy feel good. But when clinotn and obama praise a Ku Klux Klan racist a guy who at age 47 voted against the civil rights act not a peep from the ,mainstream media or fellow democrats. you can ignore the dbl standard all you want
@bmyze316 But Clinton never did say he supported a segregationist, now did he? He never said he would have voted for Byrd in his youth. You can say many things about him, but one think you can never say is that he didn't respect black people. He was fighting for civil rights for everyone his entire life, and now suddenly he's a racist after something he said in a speech? Uh, what? How the hell does that work?
@VoiceHunter i guess your not understanding what im saying. IM TALKING ABOUT THE DOUBLE STANDARD. I never said Clinton was a racist his comments during the dem primary in 08' about how obama should be getting them coffee would have been called racist if he was a republican. same as this byrd thing. clinton justified byrd being in the KKK PERIOD. If Bush came out and said the same things what do you HONESTLY think liberals would say?
@VoiceHunter yup just make a broad statement instead of addressing the points im making. LOL go ahead and ride the hope and change band wagon. the rest of america has smartened up (obama 38% approval rating among independents, gallup) enjoy the november elections. LOL
@bmyze316 Well, I did address the points you made. And you lost the argument. And I will certainly enjoy the November elections. I will very much enjoy seeing Democratic pickups in California, Hawaii, and all the districts and states that continue to elect corrupt politicians that fight to bring the big government Bush/Cheney era back to Washington.
@VoiceHunter LOL saying that you won an argument doesnt mean you won pal. clinton defended a racist former kkk member and you stand by that. and somehow yuo try to make it seem like the trent lott situation was different when it just wasnt. you lose
republicans will pick up enough seats in november to stop everything the dems try to pass. THAT IS A FACT. thye may not get a majority but they will get enough seats to filibuster, so enjoy the elections. just like i enjoyes brown, mcdonald christie
@bmyze316 No, buddy. You're fucking retarded. You used this video to play politics, and not to honor Senator Byrd. That's way low. Clinton explained why a man did something, and that was it. Plain and simple. No questions asked. Trent Lott's incident was bad because Thurmond had done nothing to apologize for his past. That's way worse.
@bmyze316 It's traditional for the party that controls the WH to lose seats, but no way will there be a GOP Majority. There are even seats that Dems will be picking up in Hawaii, California, Connecticut, etc. And the only thing Dems need to do is pass filibuster reform, so that democracy can be done right. If you support the filibuster, you oppose the democratic system. 89% of major legislation has been filibustered by your disgusting, statist party.
@VoiceHunter majority rule...aka. "mob" rule is absolutely not what the country was set up as. And not what we have now. And liberals who want that would be sorely mistaken because this is a center/right leaning country with a very small percent who identify with the liberal agenda. We have a representative republic...like it or not. If we had mob rule then just abolish our "Representatives" and put up all laws for a ballat vote at the polls.
@c130dave1 Oh, cut the arrogance. We are a center-based country that leans neither left or right. Political demographics are quite diverse, and it's the moronic swing voters who decide elections. Yes, we have a representative republic, but we have democracy, too; we are a democratic republic. Sometimes we vote for people, other times we vote for referendums and specific issues. We have what is called "moderation" in this country... something right-leaning people don't seem to understand.
@VoiceHunter Please Identify what I said that was arrogant. We are center right. No evidence suggest we are pure center. None. And definately not left. We have a vast majority of ignorance though...That is for sure. And I was on point to your specific response where you stated we have "majority rule". That is factually inaccurate. No arrogance to cut. But even if I was, nobody typing behind a keyboard will make me stop. Why be confrontational when discussing issues? It gets you nowhere.
@c130dave1 Centrism is what makes the country center-based. We have capitalism, yes, but we also have many social programs that not only help people, but allow markets to work efficiently and help prevent market failures. And no, we don't have total democracy, but we have democracy as part of our principles- both political and economic. You're just saying we're center-right because you lean right. That would be like me saying we're center-left. We are not either.
@VoiceHunter I don't lean right. I all in right. You can't discount my arguments by merely saying it is because I lean a certain way. The facts are this. When people are asked if they identify themselves as conservative or liberal...the large marjority identify as conservative. But those same people when asked if they identify themselves as republican or democrat will in large majority say democrat. The confusion lies in the parties when you have conservative dems and liberal rino GOP.
@c130dave1 That's all you have? A poll? Polls that never show conservatives getting a majority (unless it has a small sample size or is from a conservative pollster) because too many liberals are too chickenshit to call themselves liberal and say they're moderates, instead? Kinda like I used to do? One factor does not determine what way a country leans. Conservatives don't always get their way with voters, nor do liberals.
@VoiceHunter Not sure where you get the "That's all you have? A Poll?" comment. But since you mock it, where do you get your facts that say too many liberals are to chickenshit to call themselves liberal? Unless you have some sort of fact to back it, that is your opinion. Try not to confuse the two in discussions.
@c130dave1 Because Democrats are less susceptible to labels. There are more conservative Republicans than liberal Democrats, and liberals can't even can't above 50% with Democrats because they tie with moderates, one point above or below being a plurality most of the time. That is the cancer in the Democratic Party. Because the conservatards have turned "liberal" into a dirty word with their propaganda, people don't like using it- not even the liberals themselves.
@c130dave1 The discussion we're having right now symbolizes what happens in Washington all the time. I, the liberal, argue that it shouldn't completely go anyone's way- that we are a moderate country that favors compromise. You, the conservative, say it's your way, period; we are not a centrist country, we are center-right just because you happen to be more conservative and party-line than me. You're another far-right loon.
@VoiceHunter Toss enough mud on the wall and hope something sticks. Make up accusations about what someone does or does not think and then fianlly...Finish with a personal insult. Classic liberal. To those who may be reading this, this is what liberals do when they get emotional and are faced with facts. "Far-Right Loon"? Not even origional. We are done. Keep calling people names if it makes you feel better. So pathetic. I was actually starting to think you might be rational.
@c130dave1 People say they are conservative, yet these are the same people who are having a love affair with social programs, want more environmental protection, want clean water, want clean air, want public schools, etc.
You lost the argument, and you are a far-right loon. You are the symbol of everything wrong with Washington. Have a good day. It's good you conceded when you did.
@VoiceHunter I am a symbol of what is wrong? Funny. I've spent the better part of the last 11 years in war zones. I take liberal insults as compliments that I'm doing something right. You did the expected and emotionally started the personal insults when your opinions were challenged. Everything you are saying is opinions. Conservatives say this or say that. They don't want this or that. All opinions. Which is your right. It is the arrogance in ignorance that is entertaining.
@c130dave1 No I did not. I refuted your bullshit, and threw in some insults in there. That doesn't invalidate what I said. Not one bit. You're just scraping at the bottom of the barrel, now. Yes, everyone can have opinions, but they should be prepared to defend them and back those opinions up with facts, no matter who you are. You say America is a center-right country because you're a rightie, but your evidence doesn't back that up.
@VoiceHunter What Bullshit? Since you mention the center right argument, I will have to go with national polling data which backs up that claim as fact. My personal observation is about the same. But that is just my observation which means very little. Your refute was your own personal observation, "too many liberals are too chickenshit to call themselves liberal and say they're moderates, instead? Kinda like I used to do?" That is your opinion and means nothing in a debate. And is typical.
@c130dave1 The polling data backs up MY facts. Just look at Gallup. Yeah, conservatives have a plurality in the polls, but then look at how Republicans answered the question: mostly conservative. Then look at Democrats: a tie between liberals and moderates. I hate the Republican Party to the core, but I admire the ability of its members to stick to their values. Democrats/liberals support compromise more.
@c130dave1 You know who opposes democratic principles? Statists. Statists don't like how the US elects its lawmakers, because they would rather just pass whatever they want that's for their benefit.
@VoiceHunter "The term statism is sometimes used to refer to state capitalism or highly-regulated market economies with large amounts of government intervention. It is also used to refer to state socialism or co-operative economic systems that use the state, through nationalization, as a means of running industry... institution capable of using political power to enact policy on a passive or resisting society composed of the body of people." Since you brought it up...That is liberalism.
@c130dave1 That's Communism, you twit. Socialism isn't even government-focused, it's worker-focused. Learn the difference and come back. You know nothing about ideology and see only the extremes.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go perform some abortions, marry a gay couple, vote to legalize weed, go to a public school, and then collect my Social Security checks after all is said and done. You know, like all the other statists.
@VoiceHunter Listen. Your hide behind keyboard courage is getting old. I suspect your tone would be different in person. The definition I used is from the dictionary. You have a problem with their definition, not mine. It clearly defines statistism. Which is modern liberalism. Socialism is a state of transfer from capitalist freedom to communism. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm not talking to you anymore. You are the problem. I'm talking to those who might stumble upon this thread
@c130dave1 No. I can assure you I mean everything I say. And I don't hide it. I don't cower about my beliefs like most liberals.
Socialism is the belief that means of production should be determined by the workers and community, and communism is the belief in a classless society. Socialism is neither capitalism nor communism. If liberals were socialists, they would be called SOCIALISTS.
You already gave up the argument, so I don't know why you keep going on about it.
@VoiceHunter you talk about how byrd changed. Thats BULL Byrd was a RACIST when he was 47 years old (thats when he voted against the civil rights act) but now, because you cant be in politics in todays world if your an admitted racist like byrd, all of a sudden byrd is not racist, LOL It's so obvious that byrd just wanted to stay in politics thats why he denounced his past. how can you be so naive? am i wrong when I say Clinton justified byrd being a racist klan member?
@bmyze316 Oh, so that's it. All just for political reasons. How cruel do you think people are? Byrd had admitted his mistakes and worked to make up for them. He even knew that apologizing millions of times would never take back what he had done. What else could he do? And uh, the unapologetic Strom Thurmond stayed in the Senate until his death in 2003. No change from him. He never admitted any wrongdoings. The whole reason why this video was posted is for political reasons, anyway.
@bmyze316 This whole debate is stupid, anyway. Funeral speeches are not meant for politics, but to respect a man. During the rare moment we get to put politics aside and honor a man, we attack the Clintons (like always) and make it about him. The thing is, the Right is jealous about President Clinton's achievements. That's why the mainstream media seems to bash on him more than Obama, at times. So when ever you get to bash Clinton, you'll just jump on it, regardless of its legitimacy.
@VoiceHunter i looked at your channel and you SEEM like a smart democrat and not a progressive but im not sure seeing as you said nothing about obama having the same view on gay marriage as republicans but no one seems to care about obama being against gay marriage. as a libertarian conservative i am for it and i blame both parties for that injustice
@bmyze316 Well, thank you. I know Obama differs on same sex marriage, I don't agree with him on everything. Though, Obama does not share the same view as Republicans. He never said he was in favor of banning it with a Constitutional amendment.
@makeinstall Doing some research on Clinton's economic policies on welfare, investing, etc., would also help you better understand it. Instead, you just seem to listen to the jealous voices of right-wing commentators like Sean Manatee and Ann Dolter. Clinton was not a far-left politician, and he governed effectively using his own judgment without worrying about how the two parties would react to it.
Clinton critics are typically scum of the earth. Just bashing the man doesn't affect his legacy or his accomplishments while in office.
What he said was the truth. It is what Robert Byrd did. It was a character flaw he had. But instead of hearing the truth, we prefer to hear politicians lying or sugarcoating the story. "Justifying it." Give me a fucking break.
Oh, of course Clinton was JUSTIFYING Byrd's membership! That was his real intention! It isn't like funerals are for silly things like honoring oldest living Senators or anything, it's purely for discussing politics and using comments made at speeches to turn against people.
Clinton (cheated on his wife, and lied to Congress), Gore (global warming scam and possible sexual assualt), T. Kennedy (drunk and left a woman to drown in a car he wrecked) and Byrd (former KKK member); such wonderfully honorable and ethical members of the Democratic party, yes?
Sooooo Clinton is just saying Southerners are racist and the guy was trying to fit in? Isn't that typical of vile scum liberal, make everyone in the South bad so you can excuse your buddy. Piece of shit Leftist.
So, in Bubba's mind, it's okay to join a racist bunch of murdering SOB's just to pick up a few more votes from your fellow Democrats.
Gee, thanks for clearing all that up for us, Bubba.
Furthermore, please, by all means, Bubba, define, "fleeting?" Is that kind of the same as what your definition of "is," is?
After all, not only was Byrd in the KKK, but he rose to Exalted Cyclops status; leading his local chapter. That sounds like a lot more than just a "fleeting" association.

VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter i guess your not understanding what im saying. IM TALKING ABOUT THE DOUBLE STANDARD. I never said Clinton was a racist his comments during the dem primary in 08' about how obama should be getting them coffee would have been called racist if he was a republican. same as this byrd thing. clinton justified byrd being in the KKK PERIOD. If Bush came out and said the same things what do you HONESTLY think liberals would say?
bmyze316 1 year ago
@bmyze316 I think liberals would laugh at the fact that Bush is giving speeches for people who are a million times more popular than him.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter yup just make a broad statement instead of addressing the points im making. LOL go ahead and ride the hope and change band wagon. the rest of america has smartened up (obama 38% approval rating among independents, gallup) enjoy the november elections. LOL
bmyze316 1 year ago
@bmyze316 Well, I did address the points you made. And you lost the argument. And I will certainly enjoy the November elections. I will very much enjoy seeing Democratic pickups in California, Hawaii, and all the districts and states that continue to elect corrupt politicians that fight to bring the big government Bush/Cheney era back to Washington.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter LOL saying that you won an argument doesnt mean you won pal. clinton defended a racist former kkk member and you stand by that. and somehow yuo try to make it seem like the trent lott situation was different when it just wasnt. you lose
republicans will pick up enough seats in november to stop everything the dems try to pass. THAT IS A FACT. thye may not get a majority but they will get enough seats to filibuster, so enjoy the elections. just like i enjoyes brown, mcdonald christie
bmyze316 1 year ago
@bmyze316 No, buddy. You're fucking retarded. You used this video to play politics, and not to honor Senator Byrd. That's way low. Clinton explained why a man did something, and that was it. Plain and simple. No questions asked. Trent Lott's incident was bad because Thurmond had done nothing to apologize for his past. That's way worse.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@bmyze316 It's traditional for the party that controls the WH to lose seats, but no way will there be a GOP Majority. There are even seats that Dems will be picking up in Hawaii, California, Connecticut, etc. And the only thing Dems need to do is pass filibuster reform, so that democracy can be done right. If you support the filibuster, you oppose the democratic system. 89% of major legislation has been filibustered by your disgusting, statist party.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter Uhm...we were not set up as a democracy...We were set up as a Representative Republic.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 We have majority rule in this country, like it or not.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter majority rule...aka. "mob" rule is absolutely not what the country was set up as. And not what we have now. And liberals who want that would be sorely mistaken because this is a center/right leaning country with a very small percent who identify with the liberal agenda. We have a representative republic...like it or not. If we had mob rule then just abolish our "Representatives" and put up all laws for a ballat vote at the polls.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 Oh, cut the arrogance. We are a center-based country that leans neither left or right. Political demographics are quite diverse, and it's the moronic swing voters who decide elections. Yes, we have a representative republic, but we have democracy, too; we are a democratic republic. Sometimes we vote for people, other times we vote for referendums and specific issues. We have what is called "moderation" in this country... something right-leaning people don't seem to understand.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter Please Identify what I said that was arrogant. We are center right. No evidence suggest we are pure center. None. And definately not left. We have a vast majority of ignorance though...That is for sure. And I was on point to your specific response where you stated we have "majority rule". That is factually inaccurate. No arrogance to cut. But even if I was, nobody typing behind a keyboard will make me stop. Why be confrontational when discussing issues? It gets you nowhere.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 Centrism is what makes the country center-based. We have capitalism, yes, but we also have many social programs that not only help people, but allow markets to work efficiently and help prevent market failures. And no, we don't have total democracy, but we have democracy as part of our principles- both political and economic. You're just saying we're center-right because you lean right. That would be like me saying we're center-left. We are not either.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter I don't lean right. I all in right. You can't discount my arguments by merely saying it is because I lean a certain way. The facts are this. When people are asked if they identify themselves as conservative or liberal...the large marjority identify as conservative. But those same people when asked if they identify themselves as republican or democrat will in large majority say democrat. The confusion lies in the parties when you have conservative dems and liberal rino GOP.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 That's all you have? A poll? Polls that never show conservatives getting a majority (unless it has a small sample size or is from a conservative pollster) because too many liberals are too chickenshit to call themselves liberal and say they're moderates, instead? Kinda like I used to do? One factor does not determine what way a country leans. Conservatives don't always get their way with voters, nor do liberals.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter Not sure where you get the "That's all you have? A Poll?" comment. But since you mock it, where do you get your facts that say too many liberals are to chickenshit to call themselves liberal? Unless you have some sort of fact to back it, that is your opinion. Try not to confuse the two in discussions.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 Because Democrats are less susceptible to labels. There are more conservative Republicans than liberal Democrats, and liberals can't even can't above 50% with Democrats because they tie with moderates, one point above or below being a plurality most of the time. That is the cancer in the Democratic Party. Because the conservatards have turned "liberal" into a dirty word with their propaganda, people don't like using it- not even the liberals themselves.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@c130dave1 The discussion we're having right now symbolizes what happens in Washington all the time. I, the liberal, argue that it shouldn't completely go anyone's way- that we are a moderate country that favors compromise. You, the conservative, say it's your way, period; we are not a centrist country, we are center-right just because you happen to be more conservative and party-line than me. You're another far-right loon.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter Toss enough mud on the wall and hope something sticks. Make up accusations about what someone does or does not think and then fianlly...Finish with a personal insult. Classic liberal. To those who may be reading this, this is what liberals do when they get emotional and are faced with facts. "Far-Right Loon"? Not even origional. We are done. Keep calling people names if it makes you feel better. So pathetic. I was actually starting to think you might be rational.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 People say they are conservative, yet these are the same people who are having a love affair with social programs, want more environmental protection, want clean water, want clean air, want public schools, etc.
You lost the argument, and you are a far-right loon. You are the symbol of everything wrong with Washington. Have a good day. It's good you conceded when you did.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter I am a symbol of what is wrong? Funny. I've spent the better part of the last 11 years in war zones. I take liberal insults as compliments that I'm doing something right. You did the expected and emotionally started the personal insults when your opinions were challenged. Everything you are saying is opinions. Conservatives say this or say that. They don't want this or that. All opinions. Which is your right. It is the arrogance in ignorance that is entertaining.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 No I did not. I refuted your bullshit, and threw in some insults in there. That doesn't invalidate what I said. Not one bit. You're just scraping at the bottom of the barrel, now. Yes, everyone can have opinions, but they should be prepared to defend them and back those opinions up with facts, no matter who you are. You say America is a center-right country because you're a rightie, but your evidence doesn't back that up.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter What Bullshit? Since you mention the center right argument, I will have to go with national polling data which backs up that claim as fact. My personal observation is about the same. But that is just my observation which means very little. Your refute was your own personal observation, "too many liberals are too chickenshit to call themselves liberal and say they're moderates, instead? Kinda like I used to do?" That is your opinion and means nothing in a debate. And is typical.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 The polling data backs up MY facts. Just look at Gallup. Yeah, conservatives have a plurality in the polls, but then look at how Republicans answered the question: mostly conservative. Then look at Democrats: a tie between liberals and moderates. I hate the Republican Party to the core, but I admire the ability of its members to stick to their values. Democrats/liberals support compromise more.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@c130dave1 You know who opposes democratic principles? Statists. Statists don't like how the US elects its lawmakers, because they would rather just pass whatever they want that's for their benefit.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter "The term statism is sometimes used to refer to state capitalism or highly-regulated market economies with large amounts of government intervention. It is also used to refer to state socialism or co-operative economic systems that use the state, through nationalization, as a means of running industry... institution capable of using political power to enact policy on a passive or resisting society composed of the body of people." Since you brought it up...That is liberalism.
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 That's Communism, you twit. Socialism isn't even government-focused, it's worker-focused. Learn the difference and come back. You know nothing about ideology and see only the extremes.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go perform some abortions, marry a gay couple, vote to legalize weed, go to a public school, and then collect my Social Security checks after all is said and done. You know, like all the other statists.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter Listen. Your hide behind keyboard courage is getting old. I suspect your tone would be different in person. The definition I used is from the dictionary. You have a problem with their definition, not mine. It clearly defines statistism. Which is modern liberalism. Socialism is a state of transfer from capitalist freedom to communism. In case you haven't figured it out, I'm not talking to you anymore. You are the problem. I'm talking to those who might stumble upon this thread
c130dave1 6 months ago
@c130dave1 No. I can assure you I mean everything I say. And I don't hide it. I don't cower about my beliefs like most liberals.
Socialism is the belief that means of production should be determined by the workers and community, and communism is the belief in a classless society. Socialism is neither capitalism nor communism. If liberals were socialists, they would be called SOCIALISTS.
You already gave up the argument, so I don't know why you keep going on about it.
VoiceHunter 6 months ago
@VoiceHunter you talk about how byrd changed. Thats BULL Byrd was a RACIST when he was 47 years old (thats when he voted against the civil rights act) but now, because you cant be in politics in todays world if your an admitted racist like byrd, all of a sudden byrd is not racist, LOL It's so obvious that byrd just wanted to stay in politics thats why he denounced his past. how can you be so naive? am i wrong when I say Clinton justified byrd being a racist klan member?
bmyze316 1 year ago
@bmyze316 Oh, so that's it. All just for political reasons. How cruel do you think people are? Byrd had admitted his mistakes and worked to make up for them. He even knew that apologizing millions of times would never take back what he had done. What else could he do? And uh, the unapologetic Strom Thurmond stayed in the Senate until his death in 2003. No change from him. He never admitted any wrongdoings. The whole reason why this video was posted is for political reasons, anyway.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@bmyze316 This whole debate is stupid, anyway. Funeral speeches are not meant for politics, but to respect a man. During the rare moment we get to put politics aside and honor a man, we attack the Clintons (like always) and make it about him. The thing is, the Right is jealous about President Clinton's achievements. That's why the mainstream media seems to bash on him more than Obama, at times. So when ever you get to bash Clinton, you'll just jump on it, regardless of its legitimacy.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter i looked at your channel and you SEEM like a smart democrat and not a progressive but im not sure seeing as you said nothing about obama having the same view on gay marriage as republicans but no one seems to care about obama being against gay marriage. as a libertarian conservative i am for it and i blame both parties for that injustice
bmyze316 1 year ago
@bmyze316 Well, thank you. I know Obama differs on same sex marriage, I don't agree with him on everything. Though, Obama does not share the same view as Republicans. He never said he was in favor of banning it with a Constitutional amendment.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@makeinstall Doing some research on Clinton's economic policies on welfare, investing, etc., would also help you better understand it. Instead, you just seem to listen to the jealous voices of right-wing commentators like Sean Manatee and Ann Dolter. Clinton was not a far-left politician, and he governed effectively using his own judgment without worrying about how the two parties would react to it.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
Clinton critics are typically scum of the earth. Just bashing the man doesn't affect his legacy or his accomplishments while in office.
What he said was the truth. It is what Robert Byrd did. It was a character flaw he had. But instead of hearing the truth, we prefer to hear politicians lying or sugarcoating the story. "Justifying it." Give me a fucking break.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
@VoiceHunter You forgot to finish with "Heil Hitler."
higuma75 1 year ago
Oh, of course Clinton was JUSTIFYING Byrd's membership! That was his real intention! It isn't like funerals are for silly things like honoring oldest living Senators or anything, it's purely for discussing politics and using comments made at speeches to turn against people.
VoiceHunter 1 year ago
Clinton (cheated on his wife, and lied to Congress), Gore (global warming scam and possible sexual assualt), T. Kennedy (drunk and left a woman to drown in a car he wrecked) and Byrd (former KKK member); such wonderfully honorable and ethical members of the Democratic party, yes?
yankeegal01 1 year ago 2
Sooooo Clinton is just saying Southerners are racist and the guy was trying to fit in? Isn't that typical of vile scum liberal, make everyone in the South bad so you can excuse your buddy. Piece of shit Leftist.

Two things wrong with what Clinton said:
1. It wasn't a "fleeting association."
2. Byrd filibustered the Civil Rights Act.

The would explain away Stalin's history as a mass-murderer, if he were a fellow Democrat.
