  • I really love saturn, lol bought every game and every accessory going for it in it's hay day, the VCD card was a bit special though, I remember reading about it in the mags, cost me £179.00 (UK) back in 1996 but money well spent I used to get a lot of Japanese stuff to play on it, the great thing about the Saturn is it plays CDRs so you not handcuffed to only commercial films etc like you are with other consoles, I used to convert my old VHS tapes to VCD and watch them like that...good days.

  • puts q tesão

  • how can i find the model number? i have looked on the cart but dont see a RG-VC20 or the RG-VC1 number... how can i tell them apart? thanks

  • triplet GTFO

  • caraca,muito loco,a qualidade de imagem eh boa,onde sera q acha ele???

  • eu achei em Goiania, mas eu creio que no Mercado Livre eh possivel achar!

  • so dose it let u play dvd's

  • no, but you can convert any DVD movie to VCD, in which is very simple to do it and watch on Sega Saturn.

  • how

  • Were there any American VCD cards or were they only Japanese? Would a Japanese VCD card work in an American Saturn or would you need a region switch or something?

  • Unfortunately they were only Japanese, but the VCD card does work with the American model with a simple region switch, did you notice the memory cartridge on my sega saturn? That cartridge is my region switch.

  • I did notice the memory cart but it is just a memory cart isn't it? I thought you had to have one of those 4 in 1 carts? Cause I've got a memory cart that looks like the one in your video but I've never used it.

  • That memory cart is what they call 2 in 1, It's basically for memory and region switch, if you watch my other video you"ll see that the VCD card has some nice functions, and also on a regular TV the image quality is way better than the LCD screen. If you ever get the 4 in 1 cart I recommend you to get Street Fighter Alpha 3 or Final Fight Revenge

  • So are all memory carts that look like that a 2 in 1? I guess I could burn a JPN game and see if it'll play. It's just something that came with a spare Saturn I won on ebay for $3 bucks lol. That'd be nice if it also let me play Japanese games.

I know the quailities better on an old TV but its a pain for me to move things around. Check out my channel for my set up....it's weire spaghetti back there.

  • @PacatoSaturn Final Fight Revenge is TERRIBLE it's only 4MB ram cart game that I would'nt recommend.

  • The VCD card was actually released in the UK, though it's PAL and wont work in an NTSC Saturn.
