  • Sony > A Dog's Turd > Bose.

  • this is only available in the UK..?? what the hell. can i buy it here in the united states?

  • @kstar776 this model has been discontinued so you'll have to look for the newer MHC-EC909iP model :)

  • @245thegreat ahh really?? damn :/. but arlite i'll definitely look into that newer model. i really want a great hi fi stereo with amazing bass. is the mhc-ec909ip model the best of these kinda stereos by sony out right now?

  • @kstar776 No there are different models from Sony U.S.A., just type into google sony style u.s.a. and click on the first link. Go into the mini systems section and you'll see all the current models available. They do some pretty powerful stuff! It's a shame there's no market for such systems here in the U.K. anymore.

  • Which has more bass this or the sony mhc ec909ip

  • @williammetzger1992 My one has a lot more kick to it.

  • @Panagiotis8766 I dont think Sony make a key. Your best bet is to get compressed air in a can and blow it onto the speakers through the grille.

  • @Panagiotis8766 I have never tried opening the system, unless you are doing some sort of experiment I would suggest you do not open the system because it will be hard to put back together again as Sony try to make sure all their systems are sealed units.

  • MAXXX

  • How good id the the bass on this?

  • @thebest19487 Compared to most new mini systems these days, I'd say way above adverage.

  • @245thegreat Ok thx for helping.

  • ou qual e o nome dessa musica ?

  • @notecosta olá!

The song playing is in the description: DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • cool i have the same one , go to my channel and check out my vid!

  • 1:11 ... great!

  • @ReactoR691 Thanks, it was a present from my mates holiday :D

  • is that the stock sub or a after market one ?

  • @jayholley123 If you mean does it come with the system, yes it does.

  • @jayholley123 Stock Subwoofer , u normaly have to pay £40- £50 more to have the vesrsion with the subwoofer but its worth it.

  • @benlovesdrugs Yes this is a whole system, it's up to you whether you purchase the other model with more power.

  • ese es mi ekipoooo!!! jejejeje un gran ekipo de musika ya tiene 3 o 4 años y sigue dando guerra jejejejeje 1 SALU2........;)

  • @MegaSubmit Gracias ;)

  • it can play mp3, damn its hard to find this stereo. =(

  • @nileaotw by mp3 it means you can put mp3 tracks from computer onto a CD-RW disc and play them, it's a gimmick from sony.

The other way you can play mp3 is via an Ipod or standard mp3 player and use the aux socket at the front using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack cable.

  • @nileaotw lol its sonys 2nd cheapest stereo shelf system. u can get for like $119.99 at walmart easy:)

  • @nileaotw go on ebay they tend to pop up every now and again. got mine for an amazing £60 in mint condition.

  • SONY mini systems are the best ones!

They have the best and the most clear sound!!!

    Cheers!

  • @Jurassik777 Couldnt agree with you more. in my opinion the Sony MHCRG595 is the best one they have ever made for the UK. It shits all over the newer ones which are made for ipods but they are good aswell. My friend has a panasonic one & my Sony MHCRG595 shits all over it . His panny one has broken on him aswell costing another 50quid to repair.

  • Really cool video mate. I got the Sony MCH-EC68, smaller one than this and yer, i can't play it louder than like 15 or so as it upsets the neibourghs despite its a detached house. LOL

  • i got one of these it great cant use it more than 15 vol tho as it upsets neibourghs two doors away lamo

  • @245thegreat o spewin man do u know anywhere i could get one or is there any ones that are as good because that is a mad system

  • @dylan1805 If you want to pay around the same price margain as this look at the range in comet and argos stores, they are pretty powerful.

  • Great video. Does it connect with computer?

  • @saqib09 Hi, yes it does via cable 3.5mm to 3.5mm. Do a google search you'll find the lead.

    :)

  • @saqib09 It can connect to a pc as it has a Audio in port [3.5mm] on the front enabling it to be connected to a standard audio jack on a motherboard or a soundcard.

  • i had 1 of these systems bloody brill! used 2 get my bird 2 sit on the sub wit volume wacked up an all the bass 2! :)

  • @PrincessIceTM lmao!

  • I just ordered this system yesterday, and I'm dying to get it now it sounds amazing

  • @IWishIWasFinnish your be impressed if you place it in the right places of the room, i reccomend you get some speaker stands or wall brackets to have the sound accurately beaming at you because the speakers themselves are very light and arn't the best at conducting sound it tight spaces

  • holy shhtT!!! I wanna hear that Subwoofer in real life!!! =]P

  • @3600mhz how can i burn an amp?

  • Nice man, I am thinking about getting the 720 watt sony shelf system, I forget the model name tho.

  • They are ok if your not into hi-fi seperates but I would really suggest you look at the powerful JVC and Panasonic systems you can get more power for your money. Here they used to sell very high powered JVC and Kenwood systems but they were taken off the market.

  • Can I ask what that black square is/does? I had one for my speaker but was too lazy to read the manual of what it was.

  • I presume your talking about the sub. The real subwoofer which is powered sits underneath facing the bottom inside it's enclosure. The cone which faces outwards behind the grille is called a passive radiator which helps move more air for more deeper bass.

  • @245thegreat

Oh, I'm talking about that plastic, black square above the main stereo itself that's sitting on top.

  • That is the plastic mould in which the AM/MW ariel sits around to give it a better signal. The FM ariel is a normal thin white cable strip, it was sitting behind the unit out of seight when this was filmed.

  • @245thegreat

    Oh, okay. Thanks!

  • I have this system but don't have the sub. Still awsome though!

  • Don't Most Subs, Go On The Floor!? You Will Get LOTS Of Bass!

  • Yes, in the annotation it states this was only a temporary setup. See my 'sony & jamo speakers' video for where it is now.

  • I have a Sony similar to that one and I love it. I remember the standby button on my mates mhc was flashing once. Any ideas?

  • When it goes into demo mode when you turn it off everything flashes. On the remote control look for the demo button and turn it off.

  • Thanx. :-) Lovly system

  • Does SONY MHC RG595 have an AUX IN port, to connect it with a pc?

  • Yes, on the front there is a Input 3.5mm jack connection, then you change the function to AUX.

  • thank you for answering...

  • Glad to help.

  • you have a cool page

  • Bedankt :)

  • sony and kenwood are quality systems. i recommend

  • how mutsh watt hase the sup?

  • The speakers and sub all have 180watt each.

  • Hellow

What is the song(music) in the video Sony MHCRG595 ? please

    Bye

  • DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • sony and jvc make great shelf systems.......

  • @goingdownthetubes sharps cd0c2900 is good too

  • @goingdownthetubes And i love my Pioneer 15 year old bookshelf system anyway <3

  • this thing is amazing for just a 180 bucks

  • your lucky, you got it cheaper.

  • Had the GX-555 model and it kicked bass. These systems rock. The newer ones with the ipod dock just don`t sound the same. Would love to get my hands on another system like this.

  • I agree. The newer systems are lacking umph, this is due to poorer quality components inside as because there are so many online companies making profits selling them cheaper, they have to be made more cheaply to get any sort of profit. People are in demand for smaller ''cute'' hi-fis which really don't provide a good sound if you want it loud. Then there's people who buy professional hi-fi systems, the market is struggling for hi-fi like this. :/

  • Was wondering if this system had adjustable bass, treble and mid as using a GX-45 right now and only the preset eq for different sound

  • Yes this has adjustable e.q. controls.

It's a very good system and sounds a lot louder than the GX series.

  • i have logitech z2300 set, and i think this sony system cant even produce half the sound of my set.

  • well then my friend you'd be very wrong as this system will leave your logitech way behind and i'm sure whoever has this system can also tell you otherwise

  • You're always hungry when I am, for the right man

You're always hungry when I am, for the same man

  • hey guyz....can i conect this with my pc?

  • Hi, a little problem. I actually mean for you to get a 3.5mm jack, not 3.2mm, there is no such thing.

  • I got this. the bass is incredible but sum of the sound quality is lost on a hi hat or snar drum noise i find.

  • Yes i agree with you.

It's not the best sound system for crystal clear quality but it does it's best as an all round system. Unlike where i have mine positioned at the moment i'm not really getting the best direction from the horns, but i use my pc sound system a lot so i don't really use it much.

For dance, techno, pop, electro etc, it's good, but for detailed music like jazz and classical, get some hi-fi seperates.

  • does it sound better than a mhc-gx99?

  • Haven't heard it so wouldn't know sorry.

  • - 540Watts RMS in total

    - 3CD Disc Changer

    - Twin Casset Tape Deck

    - ''Groove'' setting for smooth deep bass.

    - Seperate EQ settings to control the bass, midrange, and trebble.

    - Pre-Programmed EQ settings which are ; Jazz, Rock, Dance, Flat, Pop and Classic.

    - Piezo Horn Tweeters for clear crisp sound.

    - High density layered diaphragm cones for clear sound.

Maybe from that you get an idea ;)

  • Not really. I own a mhc-gx99. This system in the video does have a subwoofer so bass might out do my system a little but not that much. The horns are very crisp and EXTREMELY LOUD!! Also it has a very powerful feel to it when its used at a high energy party. I used it at a new years party and I had it at full volume all night with the windows shaking and the highs were crystal clear with the horns!! I would say the mhc-gx99 is a better system but I really like the system in this video!!!!

  • Many thanks.

My objective was to get the best sound possibly from the best distance to make people understand how good it sounds. Also i needed a very good image quality and this camera did it perfectly.

I haven't yet had it near max, as i am concious of damaging any inside components or blowing any cones, because i would not like to replace them and it's a lot harder to do so in sealed units like this.

It's a system that needs to be driven hard i've worked out sounds better louder.

    Thanks.

  • song is called "Same Man" don't remember the artist tho :)

  • Track playing is: DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • Can you connect this up to a PS3?

If you can how do you do it?

  • i do not own one so i would not know sorry.

  • why, of corse you can. if you are using a standard def tv, you simply plug the red and white audio cords into the ports on the stereo. if you are using HDMI, get an rca cable, plug in into the "audio out" spots on your tv, and into the same spots on the stereo

  • i couldnt find any sockets that would fit on my TV.

  • great video

    five stars

  • Thanks. :)

  • Great video. x

  • Thanks. =]

  • You're most certainally welcome.

    ;D

  • When I first was messing around with mine....I thought" Yeah its okay"

THEN I PRESSED THE "GROOVE" BUTTON.

    Jesus Christ what a difference.

Its like a Nightclub in My Bedroom.

  • Yes.

I suppose the button is there for a hard house party or something, the system lacks so much when it's not on.

  • Nice stereo xD

I was after one of these for ages but never bothered, but yesterday my brother got me the MCH GT444 as a bday pressie and it's kinda similar.

What song was that? It's groovy, wanna try it on my stereo :D

  • Sounds nice, do you know the power watt rating?

the song playing is : DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • Thankies :D

Yeah, 450w RMS which is 780w Peak Output.

It's quite punchy, but nothing like the twin 15" kicker subs in my car lol.

  • it won't sound anything close to those 'kicker' subs if you have a very good amp powering them. mini systems give a 'sound like' watt reading to you so your attracted to buy it. real 780watts would probably burst your ear drum.

  • Yeah, alot of the blurb on wattage is just hype. Used to have some JBL 12" subs which said 1000w but that was peak, RMS they could only handly 300w which was pathetic, the kickers handle 1500w so are much better with the 2 monoblock amps I got to run them.

The Sony is a good hifi for a home system tho, that song you played on yours sounds good on it. xD

  • Thanks for telling your info.

I do like the song i recorded with my vid, to me it's a song that will always sound good even in 40 years time ;) .

    Peace.

  • this is the one I was planning on getting but had to settle for the MHC GT444, pretty much the same but only 450 watt altogether.

They're nice, bass is at 6 on mine though with zgroove on :D

  • Sounds nice, haven't looked into that model.

The groove button is probably vital to sonys, if it wasn't there their stereos would sound a bit flat and unpleasing ;) .

450 Watt is still very loud and would be more than enough for me.

    Peace.

  • is the system 540 watts rms or total as gt444 has 450w rms and 780w total (mx)

  • neither are official figures they are sound like figures, but yes my one is rated 540watts rms.

  • Yeah it does the trick haha. I agree, without groove its a bit lifeless. What im thinking of doing is getting the rgb595, dismantling the speaker boxes (or leaving them depending on how it works out) and putting them in my car. Would be cheaper than building a system from scratch and quality would be much better aswell. Theoretically there should be no problem with that but if anyone has any tips id appreciate it

  • Good luck with that.

  • im geting the sc-ak770 and its got bass too and its got 700 rws

  • Nice.

  • Very nice Hi-Fi :-)

    My Hi-Fi is Sony MHC-RG444s :-)

  • Thanks.

  • i seen this at bjs its sweeeet

  • Yeah it's a nice system. Thanks.

  • Hi, the track playing is: DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • Which name has that song?

  • nice mate what would u give the bass out of 1 to 10 tc 5*

  • Probably 8 because it's very well balanced.

  • Thanks bro ill buy 1 then 2moro tc

  • thanks

  • could you make a video about all it can do and the ports like how the speaker hook up and stuff like that. plz.

  • I maybe will do in the future but at the moment the camera used to film this carn't be used as we lost the charger unit when we went on holiday. We will get a new one some time hopefully.. i have no idea when.

  • does it have a tape deck and if it does, does it have auto reverse? and how much is it bcus my friend is looking 4 a stereo like that

  • Hi. The tape deck does in fact have auto reverse. I bought this for £200 but it hasn't been sold in the UK for a while now.

If it isn't in your local stores try going on ebay.

  • It's so cool!

Can you plug USB in it?

  • No USB port sorry.

There is a front 3.5m jack which can plug into any headphone socket.

  • Hey do u think this is better then the JVC HX-D77 (540 watt)?

  • Yes, JVC tends to sound more on the bassy side of things and can get messy when turned up loud, where as Sony keeps it's composure at high levels and doesn't start to sound 'muddy' .

  • Oh alright cool. Thanks for that.

  • cool

  • can u run the sub and both speakers at the same time

  • of course, you carnt just run the sub on it's own otherwise where are the high notes? lol

  • Hey i got this model yesterday the sound is fantatastic even without the sub woofer its still loud and i only payed £90 bargin huh a bonus it plays mp3 disks!!

  • Because i like really deep bass i always have the sub on, but it does sound quite good without the sub i will agree.

Playing mp3 discs is good and you would probably expect that from a hi-fi in this day and age, not to mention how much the original selling price is.

  • 1:14 lol

  • lol my best mate bought that from turkey

  • this system must be really loud right?

  • Yeah it is very loud. It's really not one of those systems that looks the buisness but doesn't have the sound to match. This one does and you really have to watch your ears when it's at volume 24 out of 30.

  • i gt da 750w for 200 yay

  • what song is this?

  • Same Man - DJ Delicious/Till West

  • i got 1 of these did you pay 200 pound for it ??

  • i sure did! =)

    worth every bit.

  • That amp does most definetly not give out 540 continous, real watts.

  • i actually know this but i'm not surprised you said it as there are lot's of people on youtube who are clueless lol, no offence to them.

it says that really just to give you an indication as to how loud it is, rather than an official measure. think of it as how loud it sounds rather than how much it outputs, hi-fi works a lot differently to pa systems.

  • Does it light up around the Volume button like the others?

  • Yes. You can see the red flashing around in the video.

  • dude thats cool!

  • Thanks :)

  • - 540Watts RMS in total

    - 3CD Disc Changer

    - Twin Casset Tape Deck

    - ''Groove'' setting for smooth deep bass.

    - Seperate EQ settings to control the bass, midrange, and trebble.

    - Pre-Programmed EQ settings which are ; Jazz, Rock, Dance, Flat, Pop and Classic.

    - High density layered diaphragm cones for clear sound.

  • groove setting also makdes it much louder

  • Increases the bass therefore making it sound louder.

  • i see

  • got mine for 101 including delivery off amazon. its brand new but cos the box was damaged the price was knocked down :D

  • Yes this model has now come down in price as sony will stop making it soon. :)

  • Nice!

you can never go wrong with sony :)

check out my vid of my audiosonic, puts out about the same as yours.

  • That's exactly what i think and it's true! :)

I will check your vid out thanks.

  • What Song Is That Please It's Mint

  • Hi the song is, : DJ Delicious/Till West - Same Man

  • chek my stereo

  • thats pretty cool, but i dont like those older ones linked up.. the stereo unit is designed so that it powers the speakers provided, add additional speakers and you could get problems.

  • what store did you get it at

  • I'm from the uk (only if you didn't realise) and i got it from a website called empire direct. Type that into google it will come up.

  • how much watts is the hole system and how much watts is the sub alone?

  • Hi, the Sony systems full watts are 540, the top speakers are 180 watts each and so is the sub. Sony have balanced out this system very good and the sound isn't compromised when turned up loud.

  • is the Sony MHCRG595 systems bass better than panasonics bass? and how much iches is the sub on your system, and can u feel the bass?

  • Basically the panasonic does have slightly more bass at lower levels, but cannot cope when turned up loud. The sonys bass is a lot more refined and can be heard at very loud levels without distortion, thats where the panasonic fails.

the sub is 6 inch underneath and the front part is a passive radiator sub which helps move the bass more which is 8 inch.

Indeed you can feel the bass when you crank the system up :) and ive never had to have the bass + at all, only on 0

  • That's Very Nice
