I lost a friend a little over a year and a half ago. I played this song in the hospital for my dying mother. I loved this song in Oh Brother Where Art Thou and it was one of my mothers and I favorite movies. I played this song for her and I. It brought great comfort to both of us. God Bless the Cox family. What a talented group of musicians and the singers voice is nothing short of angelic. It's the same singer in both, it sounds just like her to me. However, this performance was a lot more emotional vocally, not to mention how the visual impact (her almost in tears) makes this more heartbreaking. Most of us hear with our eyes quite a bit.
