And as for there being a wider range between the rich and the poor... that isn't because poor people are getting poorer, that's because there's more rich people moving to London. I agree with some stuff, and not with other stuff. My dad grew up in East Manchester in the 50's. His school was shit. The majority of pupils left with NO qualifications, including my dad. He lived in a very poor area where some of his friends didn't always get fed by their parents. His situation was worse than most people in UK today. Did he riot? No. Did he loot? Nope. Did he work hard and manage to get a job? Yes. The government is shit at the moment, but it doesnt excuse burning homes down
