The first album, Tip, contained elements of a good band to come but each members range had not been fully explored. They really came together on the second album but the third left somthing to be desired. The most recent has a few good ones but I prefer the first two.

the only reason the band hanged the name is because Mercury wouldn't release "Tip" under the RBM name.

Scott said that record, "Letters From Chutney" is being re-released later this year by Wind Up Records as Finger Eleven as the statute of limitations ran out for their old label to clain the ight to it, so they once again own the masters to it

yeahm but we were talking about finger eleven specifically, not about when the band was called rainbow butt monkeys, as their style of music kinda changed... it was more like funk with the RBM if i am correct, while some of F11's songs were a bit more metal'ish in TIP

Yeah, they definitely rocked back in the day, before they went POP (sniff sniff). Their first two albums rocked.

Too bad they didn't get much success here in the states (back in the day).

But yeah, I love how he can evoke so much emotion at around 0:47... nice falsetto.
