“Seems to me, it aint the world that's so bad but what we're doin' to it. And all I'm saying is, see, what a wonderful world it would be if only we'd give it a chance. Love baby, love. That's the secret, yeah. If lots more of us loved each other, we'd solve lots more problems. And then this world would be better. That's wha' ol' Pops keeps saying.” - Louis Armstrong
His versions of this tune are just amazing. I remember feeling all lost in my caravan on a mountain side in Norway in the middle of the winter - snow falling deep outside. I texted national radio three times, begging them to play this tune. Eventually they gave in, dug it out of their archives, and played this exact version at 2 am. I just turned up both of my radios, leaned back, enjoyed, and sang along... :)
@neon854 Holy shit you are lucky, I mean, not only they broadcasted this particular song but you got to listen to it at the exact moment it was played. Nice :)
Just amazing!!! Why such wonderful persons like Louis come to this world so seldom and if they come, they don`t live forever and they leave us. I miss him so much, It`s my dream to listen to his music live in a concert but it`s impossible:(

In the 1955 film "Mister Roberts" Jack Lemmon's character, Ensign Frank Pulver, often strutted about humming, singing, or whistling this song.
