  • THATS THE PROBLEM WITH MOST CROSSFITTERS THEY THINK THEY ARE GODS GIFT TO WORKING OUT AND TRAINING.... I THINK YOU ARE MISSING THE BIG PICTURE.

  • Crossfit gyms are not competitive when it comes to price. I don't need someone building a program, I don't need anyone watching my form, I just need a gym. For 15 dollars a month 2 people go to gold's gym (instead of 120) where they have 3x as many barbells as the local affiliate. Not to mention I'm a busy person, if I can't workout at a specific hour on a day, I'm dedicated enough to go later, but affiliates frown on that.

  • CrossFit is the best thing.

  • Great video. Crossfit is so much better than those faggy globo gyms doing bicep curls while looking in the mirror.

  • @alex4011 "faggy?!" really? Jesus man.

  • @alex4011 You're affiliate wants to charge me literally 800% more than I pay to do the same work out there instead of at golds. Except the affiliate is only available for 1 hour a day to me, gold's is 24/7. If you can't concentrate because at one point in time some guy was doing biceps curls then harden the fuck up, and focus on what you're doing rather then staring at the big muscle guys.

  • @madmardygan first of all its your, not youre, second of all i dont go to an affiliate dumbass, 3rd of all carry on with YOUR faggy bicep curls

  • @alex4011 oh yeah, you can't stop thinking about the guys curling in the gym and I'm the fagy one, LOL. I'd point out that you failed to make any kind of point that can't arbitrarily be applied to any conversation but I don't want to interupt you're day dreaming of big men who mind their own fucking business.

  • @madmardygan ok fag, im not the one talking about big men LOL

  • Crossfit is for fat faggots that failed at running, lifting weights, and playing sports. BEAT YOU HOMOS

  • What is with the crossfit cult followers. There is no perfect system. Not bagging CrossFit, however not many people that do it pay attention to form, and if they did their times would be almost doubled. It is merely momentum momentum momentum. Not much strength involved. However, it is still a new system so it will be interesting to see how it evolves. So, in short crossfit can be a way to go for people that are in shape, but it is NOT the be all end all in fitness.

  • @EtchedInOak Have you even done Crossfit? You think everything is about momentum??

  • @ThePaperParade yes i have done crossfit. Yes most of it is momentum. Strength coaches would be appalled at the form that is being done by most of the movements. again. i am not saying crossfit is wrong. but being newer it still has a ways to go.

  • The affiliate closest to me is a 20 minute drive, upwards of an hour in traffic. Even with a student AND military discount, I still would be paying 115 a month. Gold's is 20 per month and only 10 min down the road; I ride my bike there when the weather's nice enough. I don't like to go there, but it's not bad having a pool right there, too, and showers. It does the trick, and it's affordable. Make do with what ya got, and just do the wods. Who cares where you do them?

  • my crossfit gym gives a discount to students and we only pay 50, suck it golds gym douches

  • Well.. Golds/24 hr charges $30 a month and I can go any time, Crossfit charges $100+ a month and I can only go a couple times week on their schedule and not mine. I guess if you need the comradery or support go to Crossfit, if not save your money.

  • @oaklandraider81 A lot of CF gyms have rebelled against the set scheduling. I pay $125 to go whenever I want.

  • Funny thing about golds gym is one day I walked in with a loose t-shirt on I got shit talked about me for "being skinny". Next day I walk in wearing one of those tight fit muscle shirts and I got compliments on my body and the meat heads left me alone... My conclusion is people at golds gym go to golds gym to show off their body to women and use it as an opportunity to nag on skinny guys just to boost their confidence for their fucked up faces.

  • Crossfit should really let people come in and just do what they want. A lot of people, like myself, just want to use the bumper plates and have no interest in doing circuits

  • @illouie Crossfit is not like that. They don't modify the workouts and You should do the circuits. They will get you in way better shape.

  • @Wakeman1987 Yeah but I'm already in shape lol. I do olympic lifts for fun. I'm saying, I don't care about circuits or their workouts. It would just be nice to be able to join just to use their bumper plates.

  • @illouie yeah you think that but you haven't tried one of the WOD

  • @CxOxLxE Actually, I have. I thoroughly enjoy doing olympic lifts.

  • @illouie so you have done an actual CrossFit WOD? because CrossFit is more than just olympic lifts

  • @CxOxLxE Yes I have. In my undergrad, we did them all the time. I have no interest in them. My passion is snatches and clean & jerks and everything related. The ONLY reason I would want to go to CrossFit is to use their plates, and that's it.

  • haha. people go to gold's gym to talk about the latest GNC bodybuilder product that will rip you off, err, I mean make you ripped, and then you can stand around all the cool machines and talk about pro bodybuilders and maybe a do set of exercises every 5 minutes or so. After your' workout you can look at your bicpes in the mirror in the mnes' room and dream about getting huge steroid arms.

Just kidding. Crossfit is alpha to gold's gym.

  • He makes a good point. Why would you go to Golds Gym? Crossfit is where its at.

  • @thalldakota depends on your goals.

  • @Shanedidwhat true, crossfits not for body building necessarily. consists of too much cardio to keep your weight up. but if you want to get fit... then crossfits the way to go

  • @coudu8ed keep fit? thats relative. You dont need to do cardio to be"fit" Like i said it depends on your goals.

  • Quite similar to my first reaction inside a crossfit affiliate.
