I feel like I am on an acid trip every other Burton movie I watch. They just get so bizarre at times. I hate when people compare him to Spielberg or Hitchcock. Different movie styles. Saw Tim Burton's exhibit at LACMA in Los Angeles last night.  Very cool. There are a bunch of his drawings from high school on and models and props from many of his movies. You can really see all the different ideas he played off of. There are even toys that resemble the characters from Nightmare Before Christmas that he made in a gift shop there. I recommend it :)

it's weird that people credit that movie as bein the ultimae Tim Burton movie, and he wasn't even directing. To be fair, though, the movie was based off of his poetry and artwork, and he did give a lot of artistic input during the making of the film. But Henry Selik deserves more credit then people give him.
