In other words make sure you can go to the kennel and see the parents, at least the mother. An american Bandog runs from 500 to 3,000 dollars depending on where you purchase them.

The American Bulldog is a heavy working dog, so I see no purpose in mixing it with a mastiff? Mixing a dead game pit with a neoplitan mastiff has a purpose, a very clear purpose? And that is to create a quicker, more explosive, more agile and more balanced personal protection dog then an ordinary mastiff! Todays mastiffs are bred for show, while my 100lb bandog leaps over a 6 ft wall
Early socialization works well with them. My Bandog will play with anydog that wants to play, but, will also attack any dog that shows aggresion towards him or me.
It all differs from one dog to the next. In general they are more docile making them easier to train and control. You've never heard of a bandog killing thier owner or anybody else for that matter, while APBT are responsible for more dog related bite fatalities then any other other breed of dog.
just agreeing with ustasa70, i own a bandog neo mastif/APBT,30inches at the shoulders and 110lbs, extremely loyal to owner and very playful and sometimes too friendly towards strangers but if a person or dog approaches displaying aggression then its a whole different story!! a beast takes over and will destroy any threat!!
