Honestly smash hits made it so that you don't have to strum during certain parts. That is good and acurate to what the music video shows from dragonforce. I know none of these are actually acurate but for power chord wise smash hits and 3 are accurate. You aren't hitting two strings for power chords your hitting three dumb ass rockband.

Rock Band 3 has the most accurate (and thusly difficult) chart to play this song on expert. It was written by Dragonforce to be next to impossible to replicate. That's why it's one of the most difficult songs in all three of these games. Now, SH definitely is second in the rankings, because the harmonics make up for the missing notes. All GH3 did was make a shit load of notes for the player to hit and hope (and luckily succeeded(barely)) that it would be somewhat accurate to the song. Thnx.

@Megidramon dude accuracy doesnt really have anything to do with it, if u aint got rhythm u cant play any damn song on any guitar game, all three songs were made by dragonforce to be immpossible but if ur smart u will find a way, the fact is Guitar hero challenges ur coordination skills and ur agility as well, if u dont have both ur gonna fail so when it comes down to it in my opinion, Guitar Hero takes it all the way

My verdict is that the GH3 version is hardest to pass, while the RB3 version is hardest to FC (because 5:28 is fucking outrageous), not to mention the RB3 version only has 1 FC despite missing the synth part, while the GH3 version has probably at least 15 FCes (iamchris4life, GHP, ukog, JPrez, etc.)

Either way, RB3's Operation Ground and Pound trumps them all. Ukog got the first legit PASS.

Not only does it do that once, but a few times. Not only that, but the power chords played though out the entire song are incorrect as well. Guitar hero made its series more difficult and more appealing to play, not more accurate.

@BigX2112 In a sense, you're both right. The power chords in the Guitar Hero ones are by no means wrong. But, the entire keyboards sections should be omitted. Guitar Hero failed to include the very low volume sustain notes right before the finale solo, which Rockband correctly placed. Rockband is more accurate between the notes that should be sustained, and the ones that require a slide-up or down hammer on series, as well. Both charts have their accuracies and failures.

GH3 is definitely best out of the three here. I feel that RB3 cuts corners a lot. 3:57 proves my point. Look at the Smash Hits and GH3 note charts, then the RB3 note chart. GH3 feels like it stays true to the actual song note chart the most. I get the feeling that they're trying to make it easier for you as you go through the games. Smash Hits has the notes where you don't strum or you don't hold down frets, and RB3 flat out makes it easier by taking out a lot of notes, again, 3:57.

@TheCyCoAnGuS1 The Rock Band engine is much harder than the GH engine to play on. RB's engine is much stricter opposed to GH's looser engine making for easier FCs of TTFAF. There's a bunch of TTFAF GH FCs, only one on RB. And not even that many GS's of the song on RB either.

Rockband has pretty undercharted and/or inaccurate charts most of the time. I like RB though, I just prefer GH more because they make it more like a fun and simple game like it's supposed to be than realistic (120 something button guitar for example) I rather have fun playing a game than trying to learn something like that. I understand it's good for those who want to learn the real thing.. but that's just my personal opinion.
