I'm actually laughing while reading the comments. In most cases, a video bashing an ideology can expect a torrent of hate and cynicism. That's my experience. Yawl are basically the most easy going and self controlled belief system I've ever seen.

You have stated that it actually worked. You choose what works for you and what doesn't in your life. Allowing your mind to manifest something else is completely different and of your own doing. You must be master of your own destiny and what works best for you. Don't blame Reiki for what you allowed yourself to manifest. I'm so sorry for this woman's confusion, & that in giving over so much of herself to another/others, she apparently got lost. Her/their fear is palpable. It sounds like she may still be believing others' truth over the truth and authority in her own heart. And none of us is perfect yet in our ability to follow God's Still Small Voice within, every single moment of our lives. It isn't a stupid question at all, Reiki is the universal life energy that flows through everything & everybody, when you hurt yourself & you automatically rub the part you hurt, Or even blow on injuries? This is an instinctive reaction & is inate in all of us. Reiki is as natural as that. Our bodies radiate energy & heat naturally.. Many cultures have different names for this life force of energy. Reiki comes from the Japanese term "Ki," meaning life force energy.

I have never had this experience and I have had Reiki first and second Attunements. I felt enlightened and happy. Not like that. Just because you have had a bad experience does not mean we are all the same. There are people who are not REAL!! like any thing. There are people who deceive old people out of money, does not mean all people are the same. Reiki is NOT dangerous you seem to met a right bunch of mad people.

The title of this video is "The Dangers of Reiki Exposed", but this woman spoke of the many people she has aided in healing. The only danger is her own fear-based mentality as noted at 8:55. As a Reiki Master I call on who I want to receive help from and always protect my space from unwanted guests. If beings entered her home with whom she was uncomfortable, that is her own fear-based fault. Beings enter our space whether we see them, if we are not protected. Reiki has nothing to do with this.

I used to do it, got caught up in christianity (shudder) and was encouraged to "pray it away," Now that I'm not a christian anymore I can't seem to heal/energize ANYTHING. Do I need to be reattuned?

Her experience is she got deep into it, connected with beings and prejudged them as evil. i love reiki, but problem is people tag on their own spiritual beliefs and call them reiki. I was horrified and pulled away my arm because I was wondering what was going on. I figured I was just seeing things, so I let her try it again. Why is the concept of being able to send life energy long distances 'strange'? If you research Ki (Qi in Chinese) you will learn that it is the Universal energy which is present in all living beings. Having visions during Reiki could suggest mental instability and I would highly recommend seeking professional medical advice.

The title of this video is "The Dangers of Reiki Exposed", but this woman spoke of the many people she has aided in healing. The only danger is her own fear-based mentality as noted at 8:55. As a Reiki Master I call on who I want to receive help from and always protect my space from unwanted guests. If beings entered her home with whom she was uncomfortable, that is her own fear-based fault. Beings enter our space whether we see them, if we are not protected. Reiki has nothing to do with this.

Never, ever get caught up using your psychic abilities in this way. This is even said in the bible. But you may use them only use as necessary. And the bible particularly says that once you've learned how to do something never overuse it like many of these healers do. You are overstepping the bounds as far as it goes in power trips and you are overstepping the bounds it takes to have a person empower themselves beyond their diseases by claiming light and health and radiance for themselves.

Forgot to mention that reiki can never be used for a negative purpose. And in pure Usui reiki there are no use of spirit guides, and such.

Funny enough, Reiki was exactly what Jesus of Nazareth practiced when he laid his hands to heal people. He learned it during the years he traveled -by going to Japan. Lynne Dickie - the first few words that you say, says it all! Reiki works! There is nothing cult about it. It's been around for thousands of years. I bet you are still looking for something outside of yourself. It's time for you to guide your own life and stop listening to "the little people" talking to you, especially the demons

Ignorance is not bliss. Reiki helps very many in many ways. This woman doesn't know what she is talking about.
The only person I pray to is God, our Heavenly Father...he is the one who gave that gift to help others. I haven't been lead to do anything occult or to harm anyone. She was mislead and misdirected apparently.

i came across this looking for some healing sounds for my sleep. i'm a level 2 reiki practicioner, what this lady is talking about is not reiki, it is spiritual chaos, she fully admits to doing things beyond reiki.i never hear anything tell me what to do, i'm guided by the flow of life.this lady is trying to pin her demonic escapades on reiki. true any kind of universal energy work can be negative if that is what the intentions are. i'm not sure her intentions, but surely they arent just to heal

this lady is talking about some deep spiritual endeavors, but she went way beyond reiki. she admits to associating w/demonds, reiki does not call upon any beings, souls, demonds, it uses universal energy.I am a healer, lightworker,attuned reiki practicioner.when i was young, i didn't know how to protect myself from dark energy, but i learned,anyone who works w/energy must know it is dualistic in nature, positive/negative, just as God is.we have the choice who we allow to enteract in our lives.

i love reiki, but problem is people tag on their own spiritual beliefs and call them reiki. Using spirit guides and stuff should not be an essential part of of reiki - i have known three people lose their sanity from such practices, one very seriously. im not saying its wrong but you need to know were the boundries of imagination, intuition, visualisation, and perception are- all are increased and all are potentially blurred. If your mind is truelly clear like a mirror then fine, if not go slow

So if you listen to this report, she basically admitted straying off from Reiki and then doubt is created about Reiki because she followed the wrong beings ? And of course the conditioning of the church cults does not want to hand control to anyone other than them.
Its rather a pathetic indictment on the practitioner. I know many people who do Reiki and their experience is quite different from that reported here.

Cameron 3 of 3. I asked her if she saw it and she said she had her eyes closed in prayer, but that it was not unusual to experience what happened. Anyway, we have not talked about my experience between us since. Reiki is real, people. It is a spirit...but I don't believe it is anything good. Stick with the Bible...the True Word of God. Nothing Good bubbles like crawling lava within a human can be good.

Cameron 2 of 3. In no time at all, I literally saw something moving within my flesh and crawling in a bubble like motion up my arm. I was horrified and pulled away my arm because I was wondering what was going on. I figured I was just seeing things, so I let her try it again. The bubble came back ---starting over and crawling up my arm. I immediately yanked away arm from her and told her I could not go through with it. (read 3 of 3).

My experience with Reiki was phenomenal...not in a good sense...but in out-of-this-world. A girl friend of mine was a Reiki Master and she wanted to help me with my speech problem using Reiki. I was hesitant, but after some convincing, I decided to see what this Reiki stuff was all about. She took my right hand and started to pray over it - very sincerely. (read 2 of 3 next).

After watching this video I am be alarmed with what this lady is saying. There is a few things that wrongly associated with the art of Reiki..
Reiki as nothing to do with religion, the definition of Reiki is "Life force energy". And that's all it is, energy work.
Reiki is a light, gentle and powerfull energy. It needs to be respected and used in a posistive way.
1st thing you do in a session is protecting yourself to avoid sucking bad energies.
Reiki is not to be blamed but its bad use.

Why is the concept of being able to send life energy long distances 'strange'? If you research Ki (Qi in Chinese) you will learn that it is the Universal energy which is present in all living beings. Having visions during Reiki could suggest mental instability and I would highly recommend seeking professional medical advice.
