Definitely Renny Harlin's best action film. I remember renting this in the early 90s and was not disappointed. The cinematography is amazing.

This trailer blew my tiny fucking mind when I was 13 and I first saw it. Was too young to go to the cinema (it was a 15), and just watched this taped off the telly loads of times. First time I managed to rent the video I wanted my mind blown, and I'd built myself up so much that no film could've matched the expectations I had. Grown to love the film now but this trailer is the mutts nuts.

Always wondered why the final stunt is not in the finished movie. That's a dman shame.

No excitement or soul like all the grt action/adventure movies of the 80's & 90's.... The parts I understood were these: 1.He's climbing a cold, cold cliff 2 A helicopter approaches, who turns out to be evil 3.People are chasing him and trying to shoot him 4.A briefcase full of money falls down dramatically 5.There's girl with him 6.The helicopter is attacking him, so he jumps off the cliff 7.He's stuck underwater 8.More people try to shoot him I think I'm going to watch this movie. It sounds interesting.

This is an example of a perfect movie trailer. It gives you thrills per image without blowing away the whole plot and at the end leaves you with your jaw on the floor and wanting to see how that develops. Movie trailers today give away EVERYTHING and leaves many of us with no desire to watch a longer rerun of what we already saw.

This trailer was better than most movies. They also kept footage of the hijacking out of it so it would have more of an impact when watching the movie. The movie had a lot going for it--Stallone was back in action territory after a few comedic flops, one of which I liked; Janine Turner was known from her similar "Northern Exposure" character--but this just turned into set pieces of picking off each character. It's still worth a thrill ride every few years. I like "Demolition Man" more.

This is what a trailer is supposed to be. I don't want to know what half the plot of the movie is before going in. I just want the most general idea of what I can expect to see. This trailer does that - it's an epic, dramatic action adventure. You're going to see a survival story.

And I'm not going to remember any of the shots flashed before my eyes. It's mixed up so well that I won't know what happens next when I watch the movie.

I can't be the only one who thinks the shot at the beginning of the teddybear falling is an incredible piece of comedy. I mean, why is there a teddybear? Why is it significant at all? Maybe the shot would actually have some meaning if the viewer had any real connection to the teddy bear. No, the shot just shows a woman who the viewer barely knows anyways (and therefore has no sympathy for) screaming because her teddy bear is falling.

There's no need. Most trailers show you too much of the story, and do so in a way that makes the plot look terrible and dumbed down. This trailer is so good because it's unique. It makes the film look like a real experience and it shows you what matters: the action and the mood. This is a Stallone blockbuster. Who needs dialogue and plot?
