  • Marc Anthony

  • "Criminal" Love this film.

  • It's "Big Night," not "The Big Night."

  • where can i get this movie?

  • I am surprised the customers didn´t ask for canned cheese...........Ugghhhh !!

  • Maybe you should suck my rambone douche bag.

  • fuckin americans.no class

  • The best scene in a dumb movie

  • @xMannyfestox

Actually it was a pretty good movie!!! Not enough action for you? Maybe you should stick to Rambo..

  • BITCH!!! She's a Philistine! I'ma not going to talk to her.

  • "she likes starch!"

  • The customer is always right!

  • too bad its a movie genius :0

  • @gremlin05

Yeah well try cooking in a hot kitchen all day. Its not as easy as you think it is.

  • ughh BITCH

    so great

  • Why is there no meatballs, seafood, and stuff?

  • a film all cooks should have . isnt that the guy that plays monk?

  • yes it is

    his name is:Tony Shalhoub

  • Indeed that is Marc Anthony. My cousin, Stanley Tucci, had no idea who he was until well after the filming. He was quite humble and never said a word about his singing skills, etc.

  • OMG! This scene is too dayum funny. I collect foodie movies and own a copy of this one, but haven't seen it in years. Thanks for reminding me. I'm going to watch it tonight.

  • This is just too damn funny... i work in a restaurant and every now and then you get some random customer u just can't please. One lady ordered a new york strip and she wanted it well done.... the steak was completely cooked all the way thru and she claimed it wasn't done, sends it back. I cooked it more and she said it's still not cooked I was like "You gotta be kiddin' me..." then she changes her order to a prime rib sandwich and told me to burn the crap out of the meat i was like whatawaste

  • One of the BEST scenes EVER!!!!

  • When I was 16 in 1996, I watched this on an airplane , and thought it was funny...now it's absolutely fucking hilarious.

  • "she'sa Philistine"

  • is that J Lo's husband?

  • lol yeah.. marc anthony

  • What movie is this from?

  • Big Night..really good. Cult classic...came out about 12 years ago

  • lol

  • lol

  • The chef totally looks like the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld. lol I almost thought it was him initially. I haven't seen this film b4.

  • He looks almost exactly like the soup nazi. Just a different voice.

  • he is the guy

  • @Lucidmike78 Lol, that's what I thought.

  • I would like spaghetti with mashed potatoes and rice mixed in for extra texture. When it sets up, pour some white gravy on it. STARCH!

  • this is an EXCACT COPY on fawlty towers, even the kitchen and dining room, DO YOU HEAR ME?

  • Is there a reason why you said it 3 times?

  • even the kitchen and dining room are the same

  • this is excatly fawlty towers, but worse

  • Lol, they are right, the meatballs in the spaghetti is an American thing, you won't find that in Italy. Same with the Alfredo sauce, they don't have it in Italy.

  • They've got Alfredo sauce in Italy

  • fettucini alfredo was invented in Rome

  • The name of the sauce is an American thing, try going to Italy and ask for it, they won't know what it is. I lived there 29 years.

  • Fettuccine al burro e panna

  • TBH though, Pizza and spaghetti in the states tastes better. More meat. I'm not really a fan of meatballs though. But Italian pasta and pizzar are just eh... Decent, but overrated. It's pretty much the same all over Southern Europe. Just costs more... lol

  • Philistine.

  • but its a starch. lol

  • The fat lady is a Jew. Hahaha I love it... a "a Philistine" HAHAH! Lovely.

  • is that the soup nazi?

  • That's what I thought!

  • nah its not. I thought it was at first, but it's that guy that plays "Monk"

  • looks like it to me

  • i thought that too... Maybe Seinfeld got his idea after seeing this guy.

  • Too bad Seinfeld started before this was shown.

  • The soup Nazi episode?

  • It first aired in the United States on November 2, 1995.

The Soup Nazi aired before this movie was released.

  • Thanks then for the info :)

  • Tony Shalhoub does 2 many Time pieces

  • sometimes the pasta likes to be alone!

  • I adore this movie! I also love seeing my sweet Lebanese Monk playing an Italian classy chef! BRILLIANT! Graziiiiiii

  • lol i love people who don't undersdand or appreciate high class dining. lol spaghetti with risotto lol

  • someone please, please, post the whole thing...so we can all see ian holm's outrageous portrayal of pascal.

  • "Make it. Make the pasta. Make it. Make it. Make the pasta !" First time I heard that, that whole sequence stuck in my mind. So funny. To be fair, though, aren't pasta's and risottos only appetizers, first plates in Italy ? When I went to Italy, they made these great plates of pasta which looked big for a first plate but actually were very light, and then you got your meat and veg, after that. I always wondered why Italian restaurants here sell pasta as the main dish... Oh well...

  • That sequence always gets a giggle from me

  • absolutely brilliant

  • young man there is mark anthony.

  • One of the best restaurant movies ever...

  • I loved this! Thank you for sharing!

    Jeannemarie
