Hey don, Did those grolsch style bottles hold the carbonation? How long did you let them sit before consuming? I might have to do this in the future. Thanks
@brettwasbtd They will hold carbonation indefinitely provided they are properly sealed. But you would not want to store them for more than say a week. The beer is getting more oxygen when it is siphoned this way, and so it will oxidize and start tasting worse fairly soon. However, the carbonation will be higher than if you just left it in the growler.
