  • the nats should feel terrible for being the 300th honor

  • @kennythecooldude

Of course they were cheering. How can anyone not be happy for a guy like Randy Johnson to get his 300th win. He's the best non-steroid player in the steroid era of baseball.

  • @pixelsmiles Ken Griffey Jr. begs to differ

  • I find it sad that when Randy Johnson makes history, there is a low attendence for that game. Like when he got his perfect game at Turner field, it was only 40% capacity.

  • way to go! I am a big d-backs fan and thanks randy for your pitching with the backs

    outstanding!

  • Its funny that everybodys cheering that their home team just lost a game! You dont see that often.

  • They're the Washington Nationals. They never win games anyways. And many people behind the home dugout were rooting for the Nationals for most of the game, but switched to rooting for history after the game went out of reach.

  • Lol well im a huge giants fan so u know who i was rooting for.

  • the white sox?

  • if rj got his 300 with the d backs against the giants i would still cheer and im a huge giants fan

  • Dang, you're lucky nobody was sitting right in front of you. My vantage point pretty terrible because the row in front of me was packed. (And hey, I can see myself at 0:12)

Congratulations to Randy Johnson on your 300th career win. I feel blessed to have the chance to be a part of the historical moment. :)

While I believe that Randy Johnson won't be the last pitcher to get 300 wins, even if Halladay and Sabathia get there, it would still take them a good 10-12 years.

  • I became a Diamondback fan when I moved to Arizona in 2001 when they won the World Series and I have seen Randy come and go and I have watched him pitch many times.. I am so happy for him he surely deserves it! Congrats Randy

  • Congratz Randy. Roy Halladay of the blue jays can probably make it only 32 and has around 130w.

  • Halladay has as good of a chance as any, but even if he averages 18 wins a year for the rest of his career, it would still take him almost ten years to get to 300. So while I don't think Randy will be the last, he'll be the last for a while.

  • Another comment, where were all the people. I mean yeah the Nationals are doing awful but the people there got a chance to see 300 which isn't going to happen again anytime soon.

  • 1 more comment, I know the teams out of it and it was raining but that stadium should have been packed. I mean it's not like this is going to happen again any time soon.

  • It was most likely never happen again. Pitchers are pussies these days. They don't go enough innings or starts to win 300 any longer.

  • It isn't the pitcher's its the coaches. The coaches don't like high pitch counts these days, because of the accessability of the bullpen. Back in te day, therewasn't even a bullpen.

  • Yeah I know that but you have to admit that many players are pussies today. There are so many lame excuses today such as "Oh my finger is swollen" or "my stomach hurts." Sorry if that offends you but it is the truth. It also wouldn't hurt if baseball got rid of one starter. 4 instead of 5. Maybe then someone will win 300 again.

  • there were 1 inning reliefers though and they were good

  • Fantastic achievement. I saw him pitch once.

Bayarea, thats great you were able to be there.

  • Congrats to The-Unit.

  • the last one to 300 good job i had 50 on it with the run line booyah
