The best things about those videos is a huge contrast in the lenght and actual content consistency in the speaking. The way mr. Nigel is talking is seriously quick'n'straight, whilst Barroso speaks like a slowpoke about some things which don't have much sense - so you can condense his whole speech to "bla bla bla, we have stated that we invade Libya, bla bla bla, but I even don't know why and when did we vote"

@poodle559 - yeah, her husband's that Kellner bod who runs an opinion pollster outfit, I heard that Blair met Ashton socially in New Labour's London circle, & was impressed with her talk about politics, etc. & elevated her into the Lords from being NHS bureaucrat. She was also active in CND in the 80s, but I didn't think she "bought" her way into the Lords with cash for honours?

@MoleseyTimes She's never had a proper job like the rest of us. She was an officer in the CND from 1977-83, and that was subsidised with Soviet money. After that she was aAPPOINTED to a series of quangos until 1999 when Blair made her a life peer. Since then she held a load of unelected government jobs until she was AGAIN APPOINTED (not elected) as EU Trade Commissioner, until she was AGAIN APPOINTED as EU Trade and Security Minister.

And they claim Libya is undemocratic!
