I built those poi heads my self, and they are my own design. they are made of 3/8 inch braided Kevlar ® rope. The fuel is Coleman camp fuel. If you live in the use US, you should be able to get it at Walmart in the outdoor section. It comes in a red and silver can.
Then let me go on to say, awesome spinning! Very clean and fluid. Also, plenty of movement goin on too. That plane change during the tricetra was sweet! (don't care if it was planned or not. still sweet. lol) What kinda gloves are those?
let me firest just say, Thank you, i was really looking for a clean fluid burn, everything up untill this seemed very copy, The plain shift in the tricetra is some what intentional, I turn with the pattern so the top two sections are in in front of me, and the bottom is behind... i hope that makes sence. I had just gotten those down. oh and the gloves are some high quality, old socks with holes cut in them. ;)
thank you, that really means alot, over the coarse of the last few week ive been trying very hard improve my movement, its good to know the work is finally paying off, and just give it time, and you will be amazing. try flirting with your poi instead of spinning them.
Geez man,Your style is awesome.Your movements and foot work are fluid and relaxed. This is seriously what I strive for but, my technique isn't 2nd nature yet...
OMG!!!! how do you do that spin at 1:20???? I want to learn to do that cool trick....
