  • hey if i got two 10" pioneer subs put in, would i be able to put them in the little storage spaces under the seats without cutting or modding the seat? and also, do you think putting the amp under the passenger seat is a good or bad idea? thanks.

  • nice set up man.. i need to get me a box like this

  • @BERTO18472087919

Save your money and buy a probox. Those carpet downfire or just carpet ones are horrible and you dont unleash your full bass potential. My single 10 ported under the seat can blow two 12's out of the water. Dont have a vid yet but will upload one soon.

  • nice.memphis ftw.

  • Probably get a nice massage on that seat eh?

  • bet it sounds good in person, clean setup, props man

  • What year ur truck?

  • dat bitch hittin

  • I'm getting that Memphis but it a 12 inch for my gmc sirr

  • Under the seat??? Thats a new one for me but nice setup

  • you could totally put a girl back there and give her an orgasm in less than 5 seconds hahaaha

  • nice setup man i like how you fit it in there...

  • How much was the sub and where did you get it?

  • so your subs are 10 feet?

haha u put the measurement as 10'

  • is the box ported or sealed?

  • Hey can people sit on the seats?

  • hey you dont by any chance live in saskatchewan do you?

by the way i like ur video i have an extended cab truck and am looking to put a sound system in it i dont know what yet but its definately going under the back seat like yours

  • NIce, how much did your Dual Deck cost?

  • @JoeLaosThug probably like $9.97 at wall mart hahahaha

  • nice set up man

  • did it fit or did you do something different because i have two 12" eclipse and they don't fit or hit right and i was wondering if there any thing i could do

  • ya it fits. i made it myself custom so that it would fit and the seat would go down. 12's take more our space so u probably dont have enough air space for them.

  • @20wilkie07 what type of memphis is that looking for one just like that to put in my 2004 toyota tacoma

  • @20wilkie07 you can fit 12s under truck seats, its called memphis sclass

  • nice set up! memphis audio rocks

  • you spelled "stock" wrong in your description but good vid and sick box

  • nice setup

  • is this the pr 250 RMS sub?

  • @newmanto03 no its a memphis mclass but its only like a 300w sub.

  • hey wat type of enclosure is that, sealed or ported?, it sounds like ported

  • wat's the name of the song?????

  • ying yang twins- salt shaker

  • im lookin to do this to my truck.

how much did this entire thing cost you to put in?

    looks pretty dope too

  • everything all said and done about 750. but if i were u i would buy sub and amp and deck off ebay. i went to local audio place for mine.

  • Only a 600 watt sub? Come on you need those subs blasting.. Get an old school memphis sub 1000 watt.. I like mine.

  • First its a 500 watt sub. the amp is 600. second good for you? to bad its my dads truck so i wasnt going to put an amazing sub in there. and it all depended on whether it would fit in the box.

  • I think his set-up is just fine

  • damn that sub kicks, lol

  • thats the old one i had in there i got a better one now its the memphis power reference ill put a new vid up sometime

  • oh cool ill subscribe man, yeah i am planning on getting 2 of the memphis 12" d4 with a hifonics zeus 600watt amp should be nice for my car

  • nice man. what class do the d4's run? Mojo? and what deck u using?

  • its the power reference line, the newers ones with the big memphis logo im sure thats what yours is but yeah i just put a new vid of my ride with the headunit if you want to check it out, but its a jvc, im getting a clarion with usb and aux on the front so i rarely have to use cd's haha just hook up my ipod touch

  • what kind of stereo is that?...it looks like a "dual"...

  • Yes its a dual. It sais that right in the descriptions.

  • those amps are internally bridged with 2 sets of outputs to help on wireing, my mtx 500d was like that also, so no matter what side he will get same power, n wont get no more power unless he runs a 2ohm load, my mtx 500d did 775wrms @2ohm so this one prolly does atleast 350-400wrms@2ohm, sounds good imo

  • if you bridge that amp you will get more watts . cause what ohm is that ten ? and how many rms can it handle

  • what class is the sub

  • its one of the older m class subs but i now have a power reference memphis subwoofer in there

  • not bad for just one sub

  • Do you think you could do this setup in a dakota? Thats what i have.

  • i personaly havent a clue iv never seen the back of a dakota. sorry maybe someone else will know

  • sounds kick ass. nice setup. thats probably exactly what im planning on except imma have two under the back seat to even it out

  • hey what are ur settings on ur head unit?

    and on ur amp?

    it's soundin good buddy!

  • what settings are u talking about. and i actualy got a different sub in now. the other one defected.

  • like ur eq,gain, and bass boost

  • im always adjusting them so cant really tell you

  • Any body know where I can download this song?

  • lime wire

  • i can send you a photoson how to bridge if you wanna send me your email in a message

  • bridging your amp can save money and space and enhance performance

  • if only i knew how to or what that meant

  • You would get more power if you bridged the sub on the amp

  • He has a mono amp. it is unable to be bridged. it appears to have "two channels" however on the inside they all run into one. Hifonics does this to their amps as well, mtx no longer does though.

  • You can put that under those seats and then have someone sit on the seat when its down and it wont hurt the subs right?

  • As long as their not that heavy. but iv now made a grill to stop the seat from coming down to the sub so i have nothing to worry about

  • oh okay cool but i think im gonna get a single cab cause i cant afford a quad

  • did pretty good for the amount of space you had.

  • whats the name of that song? i have been looking everywhere for it!

  • Salt Shaker - Ying Yang Twins

  • only 1 10??

    wtf

    u need at least 3

  • ya if only there was the space and i had the money. its also my dads truck.

  • yea true..well u can get some shallow mounts and place them on the floor or on the seat

  • Nice clean bass man, best vid ive seen in awhile. I just got a Infinity 12" in a huge ported box, hoping for the same results you got.

  • im new to car audio systems and i really want to spend the minimum for a good sound (like everyone) and i was wondering if you were satisfied with just one sub?

  • it depends what your looking for. like one sub in a quad cab dodge can still be really loud but if your looking for ubnosciously loud bass then maybe consider two subs. im new to this too. I was just looking for a little bit better sound and a bit of bass but im really satisfied with my set up.

  • when you say good sound, do you mean sound quality or loud? there are some single tens that will sound amazing in a truck. crossfire has some really really nice sounding subs, like the bmf's

  • hey i noticed you amp is 2 channel, can you run it at mono? is are your ohms to low on the sub? what do you have dual 2 or 4 ohm coil? most MTX amps are stable mono at 2 ohms, try that and your sub should hit twice as hard

  • Thanx man. Im not to sure but ill see what i can do. Im not all that good with this stuff its all new to me. This is my first install.

  • if your unsure have a friend hook your sub up to a meter and if its 2 ohms then bridge you amp. its not hard research it and you'll be happy with it

  • yeah mtx does say that the rtp251D (I think) is 2 ohm stable you will get more pull with a lower ohm

  • i like how clean that setup is

  • i mean people lookin to steal someones system would even see your subs an stuff

  • sweet setup it seems "rob proof" :)

  • what do you mean by "rob proof"?

  • i like that box

    nice setup

  • Thanx man. Iv never built one befor. Took a fare bit of time but I was quite pleased in the end.

  • u sure u made it cuz u can buy boxes exactly liek that to fit under there cuz i got one but mine goes al lthe way across

  • ya i made it in my garage. i got the idea online but i didnt want to spend $150 on it when i could make it for under $50.

  • ye i no wut u mean

    mine was liek 200

but i dont really liek it cuz it holds 2 12s but it just doesnt have nearly enough airspace in it to be any good :/

  • ya man i hear ya. when i was making mine i had to do alot of calculations to be able to make sure i had enough airspace for the sub. alot of the ones i saw online had lots of airspace but in small font underneith it sometimes said u couldnt put the seat down and its my dads truck so i kinda needed to watch what i was doing to it haha

  • haha yea

    cant forget that... haha

i think mine only has like .69 cbf per sub

    i wanna sell it

  • thats not that bad for air space.

    mines only about .54 cbf

    whatkind of subs u pumpin?

  • nah.. to really get much outta 12 inch sub u need at least a good 1 cbf

i was usin 2 12" boston acoustic G1s.. not that great of subs...

but wen u would play u could start to tell it was really needin mor space
