The required horn signal for level crossings is LLSL (L=long, S=short),starting from between 15 and 20 seconds before entering the crossing (high speeds: at the whistleboard) and repeated as needed until the lead locomotive fully occupies the crossing. This driver wants to make sure he only needs one LLSL per crossing.
Great Video Zac. I wish I could ride a train sometime and ride in the Engine and blow the wistle !!! I might take the train From Seattle to my mom's house in Moses Lake sometime just for the ride ! Hope all is well at your house.
