You are correct in that so many only do the theory side of B.N. It is a shame so many never actually get to fulfil their potential, as they only ever go through the motions of basic techniques slowly. (Although, practising the technique slowly is never a bad thing.) It's a real shame there are not more Dojos around who train for real as yours tends to do. How about starting one up in the Highlands of Scotland? There's a lot of good rugged terrain over here to practise in ;)

wow, awsome vid, wish I could train with you but the best i have so far is my Bujinkan Shihan, who trained with Hatsumi since 1986 and regardless of martial art affiliation I respect evrybody and their art, but it is true that reality MUST be taken into account and that is why I like shihans training cause he teaches technique as well as real world application, ninpo is the best art when it comes to warfighting, as told by friends serving in iraq and afghanistan. I hope i can train w/ u someday.

You've really impressed me. If I was in your state I would train at your dogo. I've just ordered my first training dvd from you as thats the best I could do for now. From what I understand, Hatsumis people sparred back when S.Hayes was training, but cut it from the program a couple of decades ago. I think their system will weaken while yours grows stronger because of it. I train in ToShin Do which I learn lots from for now, but in another generation or so it will weaken for that reason as well.

There are very few people in this world that actually understand the real meaning of ninjutsu and the path of Budo. I am so honored to be a student of the Budo Ryu Ninjutsu Dojo. I have seen all of these political ninjutsu school and all they do is argue and none of them are actually teaching what they claim! KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!
