Do you have any sheet music for a full orchestra, like with winds , brass, and percussion? I'd love to play this at my high school! Sharp ear you have here.
@KishinRinku Unfortunately, because this is a direct transcription of the original orchestral version, there is not a part for anything other than strings... :(
@Gallahaut I knew it was too good to be true. But perhaps there is still hope. I figure we could just transcribe the melody line for brass and percussion can be done by ear with the real song. Well, thanks for posting this!
Dude! DUDE! You`re the man. I used to go to this music school where I had string players by the dozen and I sat down to write it down a few times, never got around to finishing it. I was I had this back then, I would have definitely had some friends play it.
Hey, this is great. I wanted to use it to spicen' up my own transcription of the same tune for trombone choir. I'm arranging it for a student music night and I'll try my best to get a video up of the performance.
Awesome job! Hey, just wondering, did you just use the playback feature in Sibelius, or did you use a sampler or something? I'm having trouble getting playback setup.
Anyway, Loving this! but urprising there's no acoustic guitar in there somewhere, I think this song was meant for it.
I don't know about that because afterall, this is just an aural transcription, which means it's an arrangement. And giving you sheet music to my own arrangement I don't think is illegal.
I was just trying to find a transcription of a piece called "The Games We Played" which I know from FlashFlashRevolution. I heard from 1 website that none had been created yet, do you think you would be up for the job? Just a request I guess, it's a big job, 17 minutes long, no repetition of melodies. It's a piano solo medley.
So would you mind if I give this out to my music class so we could play it in the class, my teacher said if I brought him music from video games he would possibly let us play it.
This is a wonderful arrangement.its awesome.I found a pdf file with the sheet music in this website but it was different and i manaege to arrange it for my orchestra,i hope i did as good as u
Hi there, first of all, wow, this is a wonderfull arangement you did. I would like to know if you could publish those sheets so my little orchestra could play this song. Don't worry saying no !
do you need the sheets for the whole orchestra or just piano, because herbalcell (dot) com has all the zelda sheetmusic in normal and letter-labeled form.
Oh man, gallahaut, amazing. You were, I can't sat it in words, this was awesome. Awesome job man, and this does prove you can put video game music into a symphony/orchestra.
I actually don't know where you can download the original song (I just listened to it over and over on projectplaylist), but if you want this version, I can send you an MP3 if you give me your email.
2. I think Sibelius is pretty good for writing music... just not worth $600.
3. Thank you so much! :) I hope to improve my skill in transcribing music by doing these. If you like listening to these kinds of things, I strongly recommend checking out TheEvilGrimace. His ability in transcribing is unbelievably amazing and unique!
Can you put up another link PLEASE? :D
