  • This is the greatest, lol!

  • This video should be re-named: How to speak like an Italian-American.

  • damn he looks like BILL HICKS THERE AT THE END AND SOUNDS LIKE DICE CLAY.

  • This is the accent of the Italian south, the northern Italians do not speak that way. Italy's north and south are 2 completely different worlds, it is as if they were two different countries. The Americans do not know and believe that Italians are all the same, but the Italians of the north hate the Italians of the south.

  • this is hilarious!

  • Irrera sounds Latino/Spanish and not Italian as surname..

  • @saverioborghese I see what you are saying but Spanish surnames usually end in a conanant and Italian surnames in a vowel. It's not always that way but more often than not.

  • @saverioborghese

    Irrera is his stage name..

  • Fuhgettaboutit

  • ....a me piace..fa ridere..

    Complimenti.

    Ciao

    Luca Italia

  • im an arab , i love the italian americans

its not insulting, our arab americans comedians get the same shit

    but its good to laugh

  • forget about it!!

  • sounds like a rapper huauheuaheuhaeuhae

  • im italian and alot of it i know alot of the italian lanuage

  • love that line "yo, whoo died an' left you Bwoss?" :D

  • lebowski

  • How do yuh say "shut the fuk up" in italian?? Hahaha

  • @TheBestBrazilian there is not a "bad word" to say shut the Fuck up in italian..... we do say:

    Stai zitto

    Stai muto

  • @TheBestBrazilian come on, that guy is a pisser, he knows no italian, there is a bad word in Italian for shut the fuck up, and that is chiudere quella cazzo di bocca! you have to say it quick and in sort of an angry voice so it sounds like shut the fuck up!

  • that's not Italian, that American.

  • i dont know but "joe baggadonuts" cracked me the fuck up

  • my dad's from South Philly and he speaks just like him

  • "Who died and left you boss!"

  • Orthopete! xD

  • ahahahahahah pero è esagerato. La lingua italiana è la miglioreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Hilarious! I so grew up with him! Wait to go!

  • I never heard of him before. I think he's well funny!

  • You better fucking kill me cause im crasy come on jerkoff

  • he's been doing this bit for YEARS

    great comedian

  • He tells that joke in The Big Lebowski LOL

  • Who died and left you boss? :)

  • My nostrils gettin' bigger?

  • Dom Irrera is by far one of the funniest comedians I have ever seen. The first time I saw him was on the old Letterman show back in the mid 80s. He did the routine about riding the bus. I laughed so hard I almost pissed my pants. I've been a fan ever since.

  • hahah

  • As an Irishman, I have to say this was funny as fuck. Fucking "Repetey" ahaha

  • @IITallikaII i honestly thought he was listing off names on my mother's side of the family!

  • funny shit thats how my father talks to me lol hahaha but hey its a not ta bad huh :D

  • I love this because it is my answer to the question "where did the name 'Joe Bag o donuts' come from?"

  • Comment removed

  • @Liamr207tkov I was referring to where I first heard it, but I will be sure to credit your father as the original source any time it comes up in the future.

  • Blacks and Italians are so very close in stereo types its like they are mere reflection of themselves , I have both in my family .

    11:11

  • @DRAGONSHEADNORTH1177 no we arent anything like african americans except we are humans, are stereotypes are as different as any other stereo type

  • I'm italian and that's funny ...

  • Wow that bit in the middle was brilliant. Great work. I know its an old clip, its almost classic.

  • i use ta live in south philly an dats da way we talked

  • YOU AWESOME

  • I saw Dom at Zanies here in Chicago back in the 90"s and he was one of the best comedians I have seen and I was sitting in the front row so I really got it from him about smoking...He was hysterical and made my stomach hurt with laugh"s.didnt offend me or all of my Italian family!

    I agree with (neonenour89)

  • He played Ronnie Kay, the prop comic, in an episode of Seinfeld...I believe it was "The Fire," when George freaks out when he pulls out a plastic gun.

  • but you know me i can't complain ... ahh its amazing

  • Madonna! Just like we talked in Brooka-leena....meenk!

    Great routine!

  • My favorite is "who died and left you boss?"

  • hahahahhaa

  • That's very true!

Nice act, it was very funny.

  • un vero babbeo

  • lol schkool

  • ma stu strunz che cazz' dice?

  • a me sti imbecilli non fanno ridere

  • irregular pete haha = D

  • beh dai,sembra simpatico

  • haha did he say Jimmy tha woman?

  • I am Italian-American and I dont see what all the fuss is about. He's a comedian.... it's funny... if you take offense it's just cause you have no sense of humor. And if ur Italian-American and you are offended but another Italian-American makin fun of our kind.... then you shouldnt associate Italian with your name. Every Italian I know is a wise-ass, get over it.

  • italian-american aren't italian...

  • um.. as my cousins in Italy told me when I aske them about all of it... they said Italian is more of a way of life and a culture- so yes, we are :) The reason I call myself Italian-American id because I am PROUD of the hard work and dedication my Family has put into just getting by. They (meaning BOTH my Italian-American and Italian family) have all grown up with next to nothing, but we are still here, still loving, still carrying on the traditions that were passed down

  • I'm Italian too. So is He. That's why I posted it.

Message to all Italians: He's not making fun of Natives of Italy. He's making fun of South Philly stereotypes. He's one of them. He's poking fun at himself, and me, and my relatives. All my Anglo Saxon friends joke about how I look like a mobster in a suit, and I joke about how they can't cook or play a musical instrument. It's not insulting, it's a form of flattery. We're a humorous bunch.

  • Maybe i was wrong when i said that. You're right!

  • @artsyvideo I agree with you 100% ! ...you said it very well my friend. Doesnt matter where ( state, city) you are brought up, your still Italian anywhere you live!

  • @artsyvideo it's all good. tutto bene!.....i'm an anglo and and get made fun of all the time and also like to tease my italian friends....if u can't laugh at yourself who can u laugh at.

  • @artsyvideo yeah its comedy hes making people laugh, hes doing a pretty good job at it too, wat part of italy are you from my family is from bari

  • @artsyvideo

but not in a bad way ;)

  • @artsyvideo right on bro, if u can't laugh at yurself then who can u laugh at......Here in Canada Italians call us Anglo's "mungiecakes" ..... apparently we like to scarf down cake and donuts after dinner...lol.....my italian and greek friends always make fun of us eating Kraft dinner(mac and cheese)....it's funny...we call italians Gino's and Gina's..... it's all good...my fiance is italian so i tease her and she teases me!

  • @artsyvideo Dom Irrera it's great, and i'm italian 100% :D

  • @artsyvideo Can u write all that he says??? In english too ?

  • @artsyvideo

most of us saxons have a deep appreciation and admiration for italian culture - we can't get enough! Just look at how much it has influenced our lives.

  • @artsyvideo how do people not understand that? we're a very funny people. I loooove Dom. And I have family EXACTLY like the characters he creates.

  • dude get over it im part cuban part italian and a small part of black i dont find anything offensive when my race is getting ranked on.....i just laugh especially if it's my own fellow italian or cuban

  • I've uploaded a video of a real italian speaking english, i like

  • who died and left you BOSSS! ahahah

I'm italian...from Palermo ...and I'm so proud of my nation...

  • i am mainly italian and sicilian, my moms uncle was al capone, my cousin worked in the sapranos and yes it is annoying how people sterio type italians, you know italians also wore pony tails yet no one understands that.its tiny things that get me annoyed

  • russel peter is right. italian talk with hand signal lol.

  • Well. Just remember that he's speaking english instead of Italian...

  • che spattacolo, molto divertente!

  • non è italiano..è solo merda!

  • idiot

  • he can hardly speak his first (and only) language...that's even more funny than teasing italians ;)

  • He doesn't get enough credit

  • AAHAHAHA cazzo...in the US and Canada Italians are the best...we really keep the culture alive

  • The bigest problem we have is, that people think the Corleones ans Sopranos are typical Italians. I get pissed and say "Micheal Angelo and Davinci plus Columbus and Marconi are the Italians I relate to, They're still using the roads the Romans built. I find most people are jealeous of us. We have Pavarotti, Bocelli, Sinatra Tony Benet, and Louis Prima. The best of fashion/culture and cuisine, women. Nobody goes to Ireland for the food or women, . BUT WE have Sophia Loren and Giada Delaurentis

  • Absolutely Agreed!'m Not an Italian but I love to learn your language and visit Italy .

  • I love that this ends with the joke he tells to The Dude in The Big Lebowski

  • yeah and he's also a dick in real life.

    thank you!!!!

  • Italian/Australians are like this too, only without the accent...we have our own...

    hand gestures, nickname calling...I guess

    its in the genes lol..1st, 2nd 3rd etc..generation..like I said, it's in the dna..lol

  • this dude is funny. I doN't have any experience of Italian-Americans but Italian-EUROpean Men doN't hold/touch their balls especially in public.

Robert de Niro did it in -AnalyzeThat- but it's a (scripted) movie/comedy. Funnily enough these men are like the French, Spanish,Argentinian: like to shop and walk about showing off their attire to ladies (+ men, i.e. the prowess, teritorry/supremacy thing). Most LATINo Men are Not Gay like UKmen. Brit-men are not generous-to or shop-for ladies, =gay!

  • In Southern Italy they hold their balls a lot. It's a superstition thing.

  • pleaseeeee! I need this text in english!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could someone help me?!?!

  • aight aight aight?

  • south philly !!!

  • I love how he says boss...

Who died and left you BOSS?!!

  • eh? picchi dici chistu?

  • Stu Dom Irrea ci pigghia pu culu

  • He reprised the "rash on my ass" bit in the film The Big Lebowski, where he played the chauffeur driving The Dude around. Hilarious. Dom's a comedy artiste!

  • Love Lebowski. I always loved that he was the driver.

  • FORGET ABOUT IT

  • No, it's all one word: fuhgeddaboudit

  • oh, i'm sorry.

  • Hu daiiid 'in left you buuooss XD love it.

  • Does anyone know what year this was?

  • it was some time in the mid 80s. I'm guessing between '84 and '87 based on what else is on that tape. It was on an HBO Rodney Dangerfield Young Comedian's special. He debuted along with Andrew Dice Clay, Barry Sobel, Robert Schimmel, Carol Leifer, Bill Hicks and a few others.

  • okay thanks. it just reminded me a lot of Eddie Murphy's bit on Italians in Raw.

  • @artsyvideo The Dangerfield Special you're describing was called Rodney Dangerfield "Nothin Goes Right". As far as an ensemble of comedians, it was the funniest special HBO has ever put on..in my opinion.

  • " Who Died And Left You Boss"

  • hey louie how come you didnt come around?eh? everybody was around,hey,little petey,big petey,regular petey,joe bag o donuts,jimmy the woman,nicky potato salad,squidlid,muscles marinara,irregular petey,carmela lemon cola,ortho petey,rep petey,how come u didnt come around? MA SUCA COGLIONE!

  • Woah, the uncle bit is word for word what the driver says to The Dude in The Big Lebowski. The Coen's must be fans.
