  • AWW!~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Aww....that is SO cute!

It brought back so many memories of my little lovebird -

she lived for l6 years, and we used to rest together in the same way as

    you and Paco.

  • i want one now OuO!

  • awww :) I'm really considering getting a peachfaced lovebird. I want to know if I would be able to get just one because I don't want all of it's affection going towards the other bird. however, I attend highschool from about 7am to 3:30 in the afternoon and no one would be home to play with it. I would be there in the evenings And make time for it in the morning. I am also home on weekends.

  • GOD IT LOOKS LIKE ITS DIEING!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahahhah!!

    that is so adorable -

Lovebirds have the most delightful personalities - and brilliant minds.

    I had one for 16 years -

    she was amazing.

  • @kentasan50 ; please dont sleep w/ur birdie! Too many people do that and roll onto them not knowing they are suffocating their bird. Dont let that end in tragedy. You lov ur birdie too much, you will never forgive urself! You cant feel them squirming when ur sleeping either.

  • @kentasan50 thats not smart

  • It's not sleeping it's dead.

  • How Cutee........ Mine Looks like Him!!! :]

  • lol

  • sleeping? or dead?

  • Hi

That's a very sweet bird! By the way..the reason why lovebirds don't like hands so much is because they see our hands as an individual being. Like some sort of strange creature. The are not really aware that our hands belong to us as persons.

  • please help how to tame a male 5 month fischer now he eats from my hand but he is really scared you cant touch him he will probably bite you or make him step to your hands he is new but still really really scared i like when he is eating but he will be inside help thanks i really appreciate and they are lovely p.s my fischer he has bitten my friend he told me its really hard tough bite i hope i wont get one like him

  • well, i can understand you frustration... i think the best thing that you can do is to be patient and sweet with him. feeding with your hand helps a lot. there is a way to grab him. you have to "create" a nest using both hands and slowly try to grab him. the other thing i did was that i started using my finger as a perch for him.

  • @3110a It's a bad idea to force a bird to stay in your hands,he will become even more fearfull. The best thing to do is to continue to feed him with hands and to talk to him everyday.Read a book close to him and everything like that...And,like you said,be patient!

  • in the beggining he would not come but at the end he had no fear and he got used to it. you see, they don`t like fingers for some strange reason.

but be very sweet. i got mine when he was a baby and i was touching him all the time. he became very relaxed with me and other people. yours is still young though, i think you have to wait a couple of months and then the real bond starts. we started bonding for good when he became 8 months. AND THEN SUDDENLY HE DIED! i miss him soooo much.

  • @3110a they prefare going on shoulders then on fingers :P

  • @3110a mine died at 6months from sickness R.I.P. FruitLoop i will always loveand remeber u

  • @cinder309 - Hi, Cinder, I am so sorry to hear about your little pet bird...did you get him to an avian specialist?

Regular vets try hard, but really don't know enough about the complex systems of such small animals. Anyway,

I am sorry. I bet you gave your bird the best life possible while he or she was with you.

  • oh yes, i have to mention that i didn`t have him in a cage. he was living in my room. he had his favourite place and a place to sleep of course, but he was free to go where he wanted.

i hope i helped a bit, but if you have any other related questions don`t hesitate to ask- write.

    have a nice day

  • hey thanks ..you also helped me alot

  • @yahyazalloum95 try grabbing him in your hands and kiss him on his head :P mine stays when i do that and when i annoy him he bites but not that hard xD anddddd you need lot of patience and try to get him out of the cage every day :P

  • @yahyazalloum95 As others said you have to be patient with them. Fisher lovebirds are shy and it takes longer for them to get close to a human than peachface lovebirds. Give him time, be patient. Once you get to scratch him, trust me he will be all over you.

  • na mas hace eso uuffffff

  • It looked like it was completely stiff until it blinked xD

  • bellissimo!

  • so so so cute!!^^

  • how cute is he!!!!!

  • thank you!

  • my joey used to sleep on my chest when he was younger, but now he's always moving. I miss those days :( But I'll always treasure them

  • yes, i can imagine... but isn`t he more fun now that he`s a bit older?

paco (2 months old), is my first and i`m still learning. it`s been something like 3 weeks since i got him and he`s still not used to my presence. maybe he`s shy?

    happy holidays btw :D

  • so sweet!
