Such a nice band and song!!! This was real and inspiring music! Something that all the rappers and teenager singers and "rock" bands are missing right now!
God bless youtube for giving us the chance of living again those times. I was 17. One should have the chance to stay in the times when happiness is at the top.
@DaveWollenberg Did you hear this on AT40 this past weekend? Did you catch the Long Distance Dedication for "You Give Love A Bad Name"? Hilarious!!! :)

Dave Bickler needs to come back to Survivor. I'm sure he can learn all t he hits that Jim Jamison sang lead on. Survivor hit #9 in Billboard, 1-17-87. God bless ya, for postin' it. Thanx! Have a great week!

My god was jimi hot in the day. His voice, flawless. The perfect package. Music will never be the same. Between him and Steve Perry, both brilliant. Bring back the 80's!!!!!!

Thumbs up if you've ever been in Love and can relate to that!! NOTHING today comes close to this!! Thank God for Youtube and keeping this music alive! All you guys are right. Im 54 and lived through the 80s and 70s and 60s etc. Anyway this was the best decade for music. I havent hear a new group I like in 20 years except for Nickleback. What great memories. I used to love hurrying home to watch the newest video from Cinderella Whitesnake, etc. That will never happen again. But we do have sort of a time machine. Its called VH! Classic God bless em for playing these videos still. So when it comes to the 80s im with you guys...Later

These are way crappy times when everyone forgot what real musical and vocal talent was.. thanks to Auto Tune.. we get Katy Perry and TPain.. all worthless fakes!!!
@savafanbryan Yep, remember when you could go to a concert and actually hear the same music that you loved to hear on your radio? Not some voice enhancments. LOL!!! Todays bands suck.
@MrDanaallen1 thats the thing though, back then, music was more important than anything in the business... real music, vocals, bands etc... today, its all about the money right? its why usher got justin bieber.. its why we have to put up with rap/reggae... its all about the money... today's shit musicians has something the 80's musicians didnt have... greed for money and greed for attention
@diablo254 Also, today they have something else the 80's didn't have, "voice enhancment". In the 80's, when it was real music, it wasn't needed. But you are exactly right, the bands were into their music, not into fame and fortune. The mellinium brought all of that with it.

@diablo254 And to answer your question, I don't put up with Rap/Reggae. I still live in the 80's brother. Thanks GOD for YouTube, I have it all on hard drive. LOL!!! As long as I have my MUSIC, I don't have to live with todays CRAP!!!
These are way crappy times when everyone forgot what real musical and vocal talent was.. thanks to Auto Tune.. we get Katy Perry and TPain.. all worthless fakes!!!
Such great lyrics..his voice is so suited to the rhythm of the song...Survivor had it goin on..instead of all this crap music of now....it was such a great time for music..just like the 60's and 70's..glad I was in the time era to enjoy all those first hand...

@ndzordz Sweetie, bless your heart! Atleast you love them now like we did back then and still to this day. There are sooo many~if you need some more, check out my favorites...I've got a BIG BUNCH, and I can give you more if you want them!! God Bless!!! :)
@66magicpower Don't wish for a different life, your life is perfect in the time you are in and the age you are. It only seems to be great to those of us that have our memories from growing up in the 80's. Sure music has changed, but life has not unfortunately..
@VSS2400 Sweetie, I wish you could've been there in your 20's too!! I, myself wish I could GO BACK!!! It truly was my favorite decade of my life!! No offense here, but I would NOT want to be your age in this world today!!
@misplacedkansan I don't see Freddy Mercury anywhere in or around Steve Perry. With Steve I see 100% real MAN!! Now the voice of pure gold~ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT!!
@NCFLbabygirl Same here. Watching the Richmond Coliseum light up when Cinderella played Nobody's Fool or Poison played "Every Rose". I was in my teens myself. What a great time to grow up!
If you weren't there you just don't know , Concerts so fu*kin good ,didn't cost so fu*kin much so we saw them all again and again !! LOVE YOU GUYS !! FOREVER IN MY HEART AND MIND !!
I listen to this song and so many others by them and it really gets me emotional thinking about how there was a time when I was a kid when I swore those days would never end. But they did end, and now, almost twenty-five years later there's not a day goes by that I wouldn't give anything to have them back.
I think Ace left the band when this song came out. It might be vinnie vincent. Eric carr playing drums. This song came off their lick it up album. It is a cool KISS song. Paul stanley singing awesome here. Gene simmons is well being himself. sticking out that tongue
How precious is this song!!! The music in the 80's were the makers of memories...Journey, Survivor, Foreignor and so many. The 80's were my favorite decade of my whole life! It is so cool the feelings I feel when I hear all of them, the chills just wash all over me, and I sit smiling so hard my jaws ache afterwards! Oh what a feeling!! No wonder so many younger people LOVE the 80's music, it is irreplaceable!!!
Thankyou for posting. Again you just have to sit back and listen. This is what you should "feed"your chidren. I do!! LOL Seriously all time classic music. Keep it alive
Im so thankful for ppl like and my parents who have shown me this kinda of music. Everyone makes bugs me about liking this style of music and i dont care. The kind of music they have now just drives me insane i cant stand to listen to it. Bring back the 80's!!!
I don't understand why Survivor's music gets as much recognition compared to Foreigner's, Journey's and REO Speedwagon's, they deserved to be as huge as these bands
@rayva1= Then sadly, Kurt Cobain killed himself, thus paving the way for teenybopper crap. The 80s and the 90s were the last 2 decades that had decent music.R.I.P. MT. You're dead to us.
@YearraeY You are so right. What happen to those days, you asked? Look what runs this country now. A bunch of IDIOTS!! Our poor kids have to suffer for the mistakes WE made putting that shit in there. Not that I voted for that shit though. LOL!!!
Such a nice band and song!!! This was real and inspiring music! Something that all the rappers and teenager singers and "rock" bands are missing right now!

95% of teens these days listen to the same formulaic, crappy pop over and over again.
If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos.

@NCFLbabygirl - AMEN!!!
Jimi not only shares a resemblance to Steve Perry and Freddy Mercury, but also a voice of pure gold!
Such fun and uplifting music. If you don't open wide and sing, whether in the car or shower, then you just don't get it.
misplacedkansan 6 months ago
@misplacedkansan I don't see Freddy Mercury anywhere in or around Steve Perry. With Steve I see 100% real MAN!! Now the voice of pure gold~ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT!!

I didn't know this was KISS singing. Is ace frehley and peter criss here also? Was this a reunion song
