he is the best of the bests, and he is performing Tango by Piazzola's music. This is not Mendelssohn.it is different stile.And it is breathtaking.

Quién dijo que Piazzolla no era tango? Desde el principio fue, y llevó consigo, mucho más tango y amor por éste que muchos "tangueros". Increíble el maestro Gidon Kremer, tan virtuoso siempre.

MIrá, es una serie de 6 estudios llamados Estudios Tanguísticos, compuestos por Astor Piazzolla para flauta traversa...que perfectamente son tocados en el violín...

Gidon Kremer was great David Oistrakh's pupil. I heard him (GK) live in the 1970-80when he was quite a young man and he was superb!

Brilliant interpretation and performance.
Kremer's violin version is much stronger than and any original flute version I've heard.
