This is the most eloquent description of a people that I have ever heard. You are so profound in your beautiful tribute to one of the most epic cultures on earth. A Keeper !
As much as I find individualism more palatable than collectivism, and the demand for conformity, regimentation, and sacrifice of self in the interest of the group that comes with it, the continued maintenance of social harmony, order, and respect for each other and their rights in Japan, in marked contrast to the immediate collapse of civil society in New Orleans, shows such an approach does have its merits.
Treating each other well within a nation is an admirable quality. Treating people from all nations well is an even greater quality. Lets not forget that Japan brutally murdered 60% more asians than the nazis murdered jews in WWII. Yet unlike Germany, they are not apologetic and deny their true history in the education of the young generation. See Japanese_war_crimes and Japanese_history_textbook_controversies on wikipedia.
The1995 Illuminati card for multiple simultaneous disasters had a picture of the Tokyo Wako Tower with the clock hands pointing at 3 and 11. This was all predicted a few times. That Illuminati game card picture looks a bit like Big Ben but you can see it is Wako Tower now without a doubt.
@elucidative More like 2 and 10, you people really need to leave Steve Jackson Games alone. And let me take this opportunity to point out that Rex Smurphy is a globalist war mongering lying media mouthpiece.
When such unimaginable tragedy happens like this the natural instinct of human nature takes over. That instinct in most human beings is to help in any way possible and try and share the burden as well as empathise and if possible try and ease the sorrow or pain. Convert this natural instinct to politics, it can be equated to socialism.
Good Republicans will however continue watching and listening to Beck, Limbaugh and Coulter hate speech.
@pauliewaulieflimflam Keep listening to Wreck Smurphy, he is actually part of the problem, a verbose liar even though he may be right in this context.
I have defended the Japanese from all the ignorance cast upon them to which I have heard & read all these years
Thank you Rex Murphy,I hope now that even the most ignorant of fools will understand why the people of Japan,at this stage of our world's social decay, are the highest, truest & most noble of societies! Simply because as a whole, they remain humble & wherever possible, put others needs ahead of their own
May they never learn the self indulgent, self serving ways of the rest of the world!
I thought myself when it happened - how it must have felt within a 24 hours loose their homes, their families, their possesions, their jobs, their future. I can't believe the courage they must have to bring to face each day and for those that risk their lives for their country and fellow citizens.
and then we have fucking Fox porpoganda, beck bitch boy and rush llimpdick saying things like they deserved it. fuck fox propoganda and fuck pussy boy beck and drugged up limbaugh and murdoch

Thank you for posting this. I gave up TV viewing years ago, but this good stuff.
He is right again on all points, Japan and its people command such respect.
Rex is a unique journalist with integrity well beyond the limitations of the shite
they spew out from the corp we call our national broadcaster. Maybe Rex can
be persueded to run for the top job in the game of Fed politics, TRUTH party.

Wow, this is a moving argument by Murphy. Don't always agree with him but certainly do in this case. Thanks for sharing.
