Sorry to hear about your WR250, They are a good bike.I'm thinking about doing another TW build. My mates all have way Bigger bikes than me. When we all ride normally together I do keep up with them quite well. I average open roads 70+. I plan on hitting top speed this year Redline. Ive had 87 so far, Flat road head down legs in. She'll do more. As I said a good condition TW will do 56mph@ Stock 11hp. Mine is almost 19.It helps. Keep riding matey and have fun ok.

Ive done over 18k on mine since March 09, I never do rain & the fevest distant I have done so far was Scotland, From Hull where I live 220miles. Took me about 4 hours & 20mins none stop. I was once asked Quote ( Have you just brought that bike) She's looks brand new. I'm 29 April coming had the bike two years March before that. Sorry for going on but I am very proud. I go to bike & car shows it has Won a trophy for being you guessed it, The most modded 125cc motorcycle. That was June 2010..Peace

i had 3 Trailways from 2007-2009 then i finally decided to get a faster bike, a Supermoto WR250 and it got nicked within 6 months.. haven't got around to getting another bike yet.. maybe i should get another T dub..

We did a trip from essex to cornwall the year after this vid, about 300 miles. spread over 4 days. thats the way to do it.

I just want to tell because of ur grate vid, Im a TW owner. 03 model brought 09. After sending over 1.3k sterling, Everything you can think of has being changed & modded. Carbon fiber handle bars, Custom air intake, Bigger jets, Custom Wiring, Lights, Indicators, Twin battery setup, Carb from a 175cc, Then chromed, Custom front & rear sprockets. The Engine, Over sized piston, Titanium valves & springs tested on rolling road she made 18,97hp@9890RPM. Top speed Ive had 87mph No Redline.

Reliability is not an issue unless, like me, you sell it to a mate who thinks its a submarine :/

took it so deep in water it flooded everything. its being fixed today, cnt wait! gonna do my test and get a GSR600S but keep this beast for offroads!! Get one!!!

Neverending fun and they go ANYWHERE!!

Love the look of the TW's. I am considering to buy one. But I am just wondering if it is any normal problems with the bike or anything ? And what shuld i look fore before i buy it ? Any proposal would be great !

i got one on sunday its a beast, lots of power low down in the rev range but not great at the top end. youll do well to cruise at more than 55-60

For day to day commute (30-60mph) fine.

Off-road it's OK.

Motorways, gradients and overtaking is a problem however because of the lack of power (excepted).

Down hill with the wind on my back and absolutely flat out 70mph is a struggle.

Corrosion is a problem if ridden all year round.

Ive bought a NSR 125 R a few weeks back, thanks anyway though i still think a tw would be a bike to have fun on and mess around on tbh so may end up gettin one aswell haha :)
