@MultipleNerdgasms Short answer: yes...but blood only squirts like that if a vein or artery is severed and there is pressure blocking it and suddenly released like in this video. Blood also squirts out if you sever a limb quickly enough as well due to the strength of heart trying to circulate blood to an area that no longer exists.

@chrisoulicius this anime was made by japanese animators hired by quentin tarantino. the reason he put anime in the movie is because he wanted to make a japanese style movie, using a whole bunch of japanese elements taken from other films, which is why he added old kung fu style music, sound effects, kung fu, and all sorts of other elements including anime, which is very popular in japan

Seriously, one of my favorite scenes from Kill Bill. A short (but definitely sweet) story of revenge, and it's somehow more delightful with the fact that O-Ren was just 11 years old when she finally got vengeance.

Kill Bill is an incredible movie, which reminds me, I should watch it again.
