@ThePaperblur ... you get a hand gun wich can kill a zed in a bullet if its a headshot... and the first rounds are easy so you can easily handle the zeds and then every round you can buy a weapon and if you get 1 of the perks to level 6/5 you will also start off with a better weapon

@Bufonism Fleshpounds will rage for one of two reasons. If you do too much damage to them in a short amount of time or if you don't damage for too long. Notice how he only takes a few shots at them and then stops then shoots again. This way he's avoiding both of those triggers and gradually wearing them down. You can also avoid causing Fleshpounds to rage by breaking their line of sight on you.

FPs only get enraged when they receive a certain amount of damage within a given time interval. As you can see in the video, the player shoots them a couple of times, then waits a few seconds before shooting them again.

Doesn't seem to be true for me. Last night I was playing solo an avoided shooting the fleshpound at all but he enraged anyway an chased me down. Seems like they get pissed now if they cant catch you. I also swear one time he tried to dodge a grenade I threw at him. He started walking around it before it exploded but the splash still got him.

Ah, you just reminded me about the special case where they get enraged without being touched. I haven't played enough to determine what causes it, but it's a rare case for me and the damage trigger is always there.

They fixed this in an update. Now they will get enraged if you damage them enough or you keep running away.

Oh and i forgot to mention.. He's not using the xbow because of the huge weight and speed drop that entails, and the fact he's using it as a weapon on the move not stationary... At least that'd be my best guess.

Because he's a pro, like meh ;D every bullet counts, I can kill a Zed with a single handgun bullet, and when you know how to headshot (unlike half the foo's on this game) That bullet in your clip counts.

Reason FP isn't raging? He's staying within the damage limits. They only rage if they take too much damage in a short period of time. By alternating reloads and 2 hc shots, he's staying under the rage limit and just picking them apart... It's strategy not a random bug or something. :P
