Great tune, what an arrangement! I'd never hear that before, I don't know Spanier very well. There's a lot of dixieland in that, when it was about halfway between the original New Orleans sound and the caricature it was to become, but it still sounds mighty sweet...

Muggsy Spanier recorded mostly in the UK and Europe. He brought his own style across the Atlantic to American jazz, a good combination.
