probably swapped in a 7-series v12 and added twin turbos with ridiculous boost. probably also changed like everything on the car and engine putting in stronger piston heads and everything.

ive seen a few v12 twin turbo e30/e34s on the internet, its just a guess.

no, the white car is much slower and to make the race fare the bmw didnt get the green light until a bit later. They come up with these figures by your "dial in times" (to see what speeds a car is capable of basically) before the actual real races proceed.
