  • I agree that Hilary Swank was convincing as a boy. I don't think a lot of actresses can pull that off. Why else would she have won the Best Actress academy award?

  • I hope John Lotter (the "main" shooter) DIES in prison. The asshole fucking PHOBE!!! Great MOVIE but sad story :( .

  • I saw this movie tonight I thought it was the worst ppl are so hateful...

  • Oh please can you please send it to me, I would really love it if you could!! If you do, thank you so much!!! ^_^

  • Excuse me but where do you go to "read about video?" lol, I'm new to Youtube and I still don't know some things about it, I would really like some help, thanks ^_-

  • On your right there is a field with my nick and avatar. Under them you can find a text with link "more" and there is an information: "ABOUT A MUSIC:

The music is from two versions of Tori Amos' "Sugar".

    The first: b-side to LE

The second: disc two of TVaB

The both: a piano." You see - music bacground is my own compilation of quiet and spicy version of this song. I think I have it as mp3 if you really want...

  • Can you send it to me also. I really really want this version because I like it.

  • Does anyone know what version of "Sugar" this is? I've been trying to find it everywhere and I can't find it, can anyone tell me?!

  • Yeah, you should read "about this video". If you will have any question after that - I'll try to help you :)

  • This was an excellent video. I watched this film once, and it was burned into my memory forever. This is a very powerful tribute, both to the film and to Brandon. I think you're very talented.

  • Hilary was brilliant my favorite female performance ever. And thank you so much for this tribute and to put so touching to that Tori Amos song. Good God gave me goosebumps. Just soooo touching. Good job on this tribute. It really moved me.

  • peter saarsgard, chloe sevingy, and hilary swank are three of my favorite actors. i cant wait to see this film

  • PS What version of Sugar is the 2nd one?? It' so orgasmic, I think I've heard it before but I can't remember when it's from

  • It's "Sugar" from "To Venus and back" disc two. Very similiar version is on the "a piano" disc three, too.

  • Ohhh haha no wonder it sounded familiar. Thanks

  • Great job. Tori was an excellent choice

  • Ecellent video...and the song suits it very well...made me crying:(

  • great!!! but what the hell is that at 2:32???? what was happened?

  • That's Brandon's leaflet about transgenderism and sex changes, which Lana's mom finds.

  • movie description: Cause I'd seen this movie and I've been sick after that.

And cause I wanted to make not-AMV.

The music is from two versions of Tori Amos' "Sugar".

    don't say morning's come

don't say it's up to me

if I could take twenty five minutes

out of the record books <--- and more :)

  • I LUV THIS VIDEO ITS SO SAD BUT 1 OF MY FAV VIDEOS and also 4 the fact that i like 2 cry =[

  • That movie made me cry

  • yeah check out Lifetime it was on about two days ago.

  • does anyone know wen its gonna be on tv?

  • He was a transman not a lesbian.

  • I am gay and yes I care about people getting murdered! I just didn't like this particular movie. I believe I am entitled to that opinion!

  • it was a true story... not just a movie

  • Amazing. Perfect music too. <333

  • this is brilliant. Has anyone got any clips of the documentery that was made about the murders? It was called the Brandon Teena Story.

  • I love this video! It's such a nice tribute to Brandon, and for transgendered people everywhere who have lost their lives due to ignorance and hatred. Brandon's story is so sad, but one that needs to be told. Thanks for putting this video on here, for helping to make people more aware.

The song is great too! That's one of my favorite Tori songs. It goes very well with your video. Thanks again!

  • this movie is one of my favorites

  • I knew brandon and he was a sweetheart he just wanted to be loved like everyone else!

  • you knew him personally? thats so cool, i wish i had met him, i am an ftm and i love his story and he ust shows how much courage it takes to be urself. hes a hero. well he is to me anyway, and he's proof we're not weird or strange

  • Was he exactly like he was in the boys don't cry movie? do you think Hilary swank was good as Brandon?

  • Did you really know him? What was he like?I wish I could've known him

  • I loved this movie so much; it moved me more than words could explain.

LOVELY AMV. You do the movie nice justice. <3

  • i loved this movie,i loved what he stood for and you have to remember that no one wants to be in this world alone.

  • He was a transexual man, not a lesbian. That's to hard to understand?

  • she is a lesbian..d reason y she have to changed her luks & even her name is because of d people hu are narrowed minded & dnt knw how to respect people esp the gays & the lesbians....what she only wanted is to be feel loved & accepted by people around her.

  • ARGH. HE wasn't lesbian. What HE only wanted was to be loved and accepted as a MAN by people around HIM.

  • "HE" ha ha ha ha This should be interesting since in a few dys we are going to view this movie in my Anthropology Class. At lest it is better than a man dressing as a woman, that is disgusting. I am ok she want to dress as a man.

  • So you just have little problem with trans people - that's all. You don't understand them. You only can be disgusted or not - and you can laught.

  • the way how u dedfend them tells me u are one.lol ol ol @ u

  • Oh, of course ;) Cause always when you sympathizing with somebody like trans or gay or black or Jewish etc, it means that you are trans or gay or black or Jewish etc too. It's very childish way of thinking. And very useful. Unfortunatelly, I'm only butch.

  • i hope the movie made you think...transgender people dont choose to dress like the opposite sex...they are just bein themselves.you have to understand that its not their choise and just because they are transgender that does not mean they are gay/lesbian....get your facts straight befor you comment on something you know and understand nothing about.

  • Omg. I saw boobies.

  • He was a guy in a girl's body. Therefore wanted a sex change. Technically, he was a she. But was soon to become a full on he. But instead he was murdered by those bastards.

  • this is so sad that this is based on true story.

  • i wouldnt cry. because im not a tranny.

  • But you don't need to be a tranny to cry. You are a human, so when you see other human's misery, you can cry.

  • So what? He died in girl's body but he was he. He was born as a boy in girls's body. The sex change operation is changing only sex but the gender is more important than sex. Look, for Lana he was Brandon - the man - even after she discovered the truth. Even after she saw him naked. Because she knew the body is not important.

  • Unfortunately that's not how it was in real life. I read that Lana wanted nothing to do with him after she found out.

  • Uhm, I know that now. But I read that was another girl, very important for Brandon, and Lana from the movie is very familiar to this another girl...

  • Yeah. I agree with you... but. But HE wasn't lesbian - he was transgender. And he used name Brandon, not Teena - and people using name Brandon, too.

  • this video is really good. it's sad.

  • Wow interesting mix between the two versions. I liked it. Don't much care for the movie but the song kicks ass!

  • :)

But the movie is more important - music is only in the background.

  • That until there no longer

First class and second class citizens of any nation

Until the colour of a man's skin

Is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes -

    Me say war
