TouchFlo is a very unstable and unpractical thing.

HTC is a very good device, i´m using it´s prophet QTeck S200 with Windows Mobile 6.1. My advice would be to reinstall OS on your device without TouchFLO and get SPB Mobile Shell or PointUI Home, the last one is even for free)))

This phone is a piece of trash. It has alot of features, but it freezes on you all the time. You always have to restart the phone while you're in the middle of something. I'm not running anything at all and it even freezes. Everybody that I know that has this phone has experienced the same problems. You think you received phone calls, but the phone is frozen. Then you restart the phone and what do ya know...You have voicemail. I wish I had AT&T or at least a blackberry.

I have an HTC touch. it has Office and there are also lots of applications you can download for this device. it is simple and easy to use. plus the very unique TOUCH FLO. iPhone on the other hand is very complicated and is just expensive and is over rated because of its name.

i chose the HTC touch as a upgrade. i thought it was sluggish and extremly slow. one major problem is the memory; every so often, Memory messages appear and they where so annoying. I then was told that the Apple Iphone 8gb was now £169. i then chose to sell my HTC Touch and buy the Apple Iphone. I havent looked back and its AMAZING! do it and you wont regret it, I swear.

It depends what you want it for. The HTC touch has more apps.(Third party apps) But the Iphone is just better in Internet,Media. I personally like the Touch more though.

Fucking love mine too, the Telus version has a 400mhz cpu as oposed as the other companies who use only 200mhz on the HTC touch, mine fast and furious, plus it's compatible with everything unlike the Iphone.

are you sure on the cpu? the htc touch has an duo core cpu with 200 MHZ made by texas instruments... I cant image that the telus is running on an duo core with 400 mhz... maybe an intel xscale with 400 mhz single core?

I was playing with this phone today at work and it sucks. Its a shame to because it has a beautiful screen and feels good in your hand. The touch screen is not very responsive, some times you only have to tap once and some times you have to repeatedly tap the screen. Another big downfall is it is very slow. It is always trying to catch up with what you touch. My Moto Rokr E6 is much faster and much, much more responsive.

get the 400 mhz 128mb ram version, then over clock it to 640mhz. Get rid of most of the windows apps and put in nice fster programs with better features and you got the best phone on the planet. search "htc vougue" by a fellow named "iamtheshit" you'll find that user has many many videos showcasing this same hardware but a way better phone than the sstock version or even the iphone.

The iphone is a simple device in terms of software. I had the choice of an Ipod but I did my research and the htc is a better phone if you have a few hours to mdify it. I have a macbook pro that I won't be needing for 90% of all my tast now because of the htc phone, the Iphone couldn't take on that load. its slower than my htc touch too (but I cheated alittle)

The very idea of third party apps on the iPhone is better than actually having third party software available on a Windows Mobile device. I have a Pocket PC that runs on Windows Mobile... worst cell phone EVER.

The HTC is a carbon copy of the iPhone, only the user interface isn't nearly up to par. Everything about the iPhone's organization and layout is better. It's just smoother, sexier, and makes more sense.

Additionally, HTC Touch doesn't have the software to back up its product.
