I just started working on my scrambler after 3 years of holding down my garage. All my parts showed up tis week. I'm wondering what size piston to put in cuz I want it to be fast as can be without sacrificing reliability. All extra goodies I have include full dg exhaust, hotshot cdi box, jet kit, v-force reeds, clutch kit, k&n filter, and a Keihin 39mm pwk carb. Should hopefully be crazy fast compared to last time I rode it when it was stock.

Should have put a better exhaust pipe on this scrammy, whatever one you have isn't much better than stock. Get a good top end pipe and that's an immediate 10hp bolt on or a torquer pipe is 5hp.

helped my uncle build one had a 440 big bore kit snowmobile head port and polished reed job full hpd exhaust and clutch kit. wouldnt run anything but 110 octane polaris race fuel and pushed around 98 hp that was a bad ass bike

my 2000 400 scrambler had the same done to it except the piston and the reeds and idk wat kinda exhaust it has on it but its not stock

my old 97 sport 400 was badass... ported head wiseco piston 0.040 over, boysen reeds, clutch kit, psi pipe, dg silencer, jet kit, k&n filter.... when i owned it i dont think there was anyone around locally who could keep up

i got a 1997 400 2 stroke with kd pipe and muff.its widened 6 inches.i have raced many other mostly stock 4 wheelers and on tar i never lose but when it hooks up it sometimes stands on end

I have stock 2000 polaris scrambler 400 2/4 2 stroke, where can I can I go to get it mod up. How much would it all cost? nerf bars, handle bars, exhaust and what else can i get for it to make it the fastest thing out here, I allready tear up the warrior down the road.. I think I top out around 65-70

hpd makes great performance products. you can buy kits from them that will take you to about 90 to 95 horsepower.

I wish I never sold my 1999 sport 400L it was also vbery fast for stock I beat manny 4 strokes like raptors Exs and even banshies up to 1/4 mile.
