I'm part of the way through this book. It is excellent - for Christian or non-Christian alike it paints a rich and vivid picture of a human being of incredible integrity, with a commitment to truth and intellect - as well as to his faith - which made his death - not so much a tragic accident, but a completely consistent action of his life and how he lived it. (I'm not a friend of the author's either - just an ordinary reader!)

When I finished reading the book, I wanted to start it again. Compelling and haunting, Bonhoeffer has a way of stating his faith that will convict you.
