This song reminds me of a mirror, because you have the "you are insatiable section" then the "we are all candy covered" section. Then they repeat, but in the reverse order, as if there were a mirror between them. But after the "mirror" (so to speak), the lyrics are changed-- "frightened" instead of rotten and the "hard rock queens" are missed out. It echoes that things behind the mirror may not be the same as the original, which is like the message of inside being totally different to the mask.
