  • @chiongster7 The songs was changed by him``you can seach`erhu horses racing or erhu galloping horses or 赛马. erhu二胡 is a name of the instrument.

  • beautiful sound!

  • mind blowing ! awesome !

  • i had a workshop with him today! he was soo good! he worked with our small orchestra and it was soo cool.

  • not a surprise......every intermediate level erhu player can play this song......im one of them....jz only not as good as him...hehe

  • what the f@#$ is your problem solosax. this is a great "song".

  • I'm seeing them next week in Oakland!!!

  • i saw them yesterday...dayum they were good

  • i just saw bowfire on pbs and i want to go to the concert soooooooo...bad!!!!!! awsome to say the least.

  • Amazing! I saw Bowfire last night on PBS and instantly had to know more! George is awesome (they all are). If anyone has a clip of the blonde lady singing STAND UP, please post it or message me, it's not on the CD!

  • this rocks!

  • I saw George Gao at the Markham Theatre. He is an extraordinary player of this remarkable instrument, and he was a delightful and entertaining host of that evening. The range of almost human sounds he can coax out of the erhu is what makes him so celebrated.

  • its amazing how he can play that on 2 strings

  • We met George Gaio at Mark O'Connor's fiddle camp in Nashville. What a sweetie! He played this for us there. Mei-Ling Felten

  • OMG! I like the part where there is the horse sound! I is like a real horse just beside him making noises...

  • love it~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`^^

  • the music written by george gao is nice! i like his workpieces like horse racing

  • this piece isn't written by george gao, although he has indeed written some of his own pieces.

  • haha looks at the violinists at the back they are like swaying trees while the erhu player is really like the horse

  • Ya, that's one of my favorite parts. The effect during the live performance is dramatic.

  • @JimAntics guess what my french teacher is the daugthter of one of the bow fire menber hes the one that sometimes play the eletricke violin

  • Nice...Nice...Nice...

  • saw them in kitchener/waterloo(most intelligent city in the world 2007). they were fantastic.

  • yeah, its great, no sarcasm. How did you get such great sound at a concert?

  • Thanks! I was in the 15th row and used an HP-M525 digital camera that's mainly is for still photos but video clips too. I was shocked at how good the audio was from the internal mic. Only drawback is once I started shooting I couldn't zoom in so the video isn't quality but the overall performance was too good not to post. I love this song!
