I have been following TVP for almost 5 years now, and I profoundly admire Jacque&Roxanne. However, J&R are too busy so they always have someone else dealing with "outsiders" like me, which I perfectly understand and have no problem with. Unfortunately, the people that help them with that, have treated me the same or worse than most customer service in corporations. Yet even if R&J had not been extremely nice to me, I would still support TVP as I do now, because I agree with the thinking.

J/R work every day on this; they don't have a lot of time to answer people's questions esp. if it is already covered in the book. that's what the materials and videos and are made for.

(note: not the weekly Ventrilo meetings) and I always get prefabricated replies like "Hello, thank you for your interest in blah blah blah, please visit the website.. etc." like I am not even asking them anything about TVP... but whatever man, it's ok, I am already used to human hipocrisy, it is ridiculously common in this planet. ._.

@DougBond Doug we do not use Ventrilo, we use Teamspeak. Prefabricated replies like form-responses are used to point the 1000's of people to further information rather than myself or someone else replying to 1000's of potentially irrelevant comments or questions. You also stated "like I am not even asking them anything about TVP" well then this is likely why you do not get the response you are looking for. Non-TVP related questions can be asked in a more general setting such as Yahoo answers.

@guitarpikz it's no secret at all..it is not uncommon for people to live to 95 or beyond 100. But in my opinion; it is Jacque's way of life and attitude that gives him a lot of fortitude and stamina. And he handles stress (a major killer of us all) in much different way than normal.

@packleader1215 , I think stress is a state of mind, with a blink of an eye, any person can be stress free. Change the thought/attitude pattern = change of life. Because, no matter what happen to the physical body, the consciousness mind can not control. Simple but not easy to do, but, it only happen if the person first realize this power.

@TheNotoriousJesus all is ok, they work every day of the year on this. The research center was for sale but nothing is selling in this economy so they aren't trying to focus on that at present. Jacque is doing pretty good these days, is very active for nearly 96.

No please, don't sell the ranch, if you do, you need to keep in the constitution that Jacque be living there. If there is anyone working on technology to prolong life, if there was ever a more worthy person, I can't think anyone. I find your attacks on this project to be completely unfounded, but invite you to explain why you feel the way you do. I believe your view of us being caught "in medias res" is part of the reason why you're having trouble seeing the possibilities apparent here. Work from the ground up, not from the middle.

@P4UL777 very grateful, i think it is just a matter of squeaking by for now and just continuing getting information out there. Book and DVD sale helps some and saturday tours also. Come out to one of the weekend tours when those are scheduled, it is a great way to learn and ask jacque questions you may have and you will enjoy the tour around of the models and buildings. someone said once "it is like disneyland for people interested in an optimistic future"

@P4UL777 Hey, there are other ways to help as well. They're trying to get a movie produced about the venus project's goals, and they need people in the movie industry for that. If you have any such acquaintances, introduce them to TVP and mention that they're trying to get a movie going. Or you can try to contact some philanthropic moviemakers.

Hey Joel, I noticed you are using Audacity to digitalize the audio tapes. Have you tried using the noise reducer filter in order to achive a somewhat better result?

@gfdecarvalho it kind of works, but if the noise is too much then the noise reducer sort of creates more artifacts than it is worth. Like if the signal to noise is not so favorable then that effect makes it sound like a very low bit rate or something.

I see... perhaps only a sound engineer or someone very knowledgeable in that area would be able to do get rid of the excessive noise without compromising the audio quality...

I had almost given up hope that it would ever truly exist, until I heard the words of Jacque Fresco and listened to his lectures and interviews, read his books, joined The Zeitgeist Movement. I am at a loss as to why so many folks wouldn't try harder to make it happen. I thought that truly religious persons would see this as the only way. Perhaps they are being held captive by a false God.

Well, there are many people in distress everywhere and I help where I can, and I accept help if I need it. Jacques has done great for everyone on the planet by supplying us all with something that we can all work on. I am not one for attachments or dependencies, in this case though the historical value and the work done there by Roxanne and Jacques should really be preserved. I am willing to donate for the upkeep of the property and the research, let me know if the need arises
