  • Former United Stated Senator from Alaska:

    Maurice Robert "Mike" Gravel

    Got history cred?

  • I recommend reading fired U.S. Attorney Diavid Iglesias' book "In Justice". I believe that the replacing of Bud Cummins with Tim Griffin is the key to what was behind the firings. The shit hit the fan before they could go any further. Of course, Tim Griffin resigned the day evidence that he committed a crime was subpoenaed, but there was no way he was going to go through the confirmation process once the loophole in the Patriot Act was discovered and closed.

  • CHUCK BALDWIN 2008!!!

  • when i voted for michael badnarik i gained the right to say that the iraq war, inflation, and other wicked failures of the U.S. government are not my fault. I made a vote of conscience, which i researched, and the person i chose would not do those things. for that reason i supported ron paul in the primary, and will support bob barr in the general

  • R.I.P. The Rule of Law

  • fuck off : D

  • P.S. If you vote Republican or Democratic, then YOU voted for the War that you say is "draining us dry" and not me. I vote my conscience, I vote Libertarian across the board or NONE of the above.

  • God forbid we let people in America, a country founded and established on the principal of liberty, do what they want to do. It's too bad most Americans prefer to elect those who will treat them like naughty children.

  • Well said

Bob says leave drug laws to the states. That sounds very libertarian to me.

  • to me, a libertarian would say, pot should be legal. it's the LIBERTarian party...liberty. i can do what i want with my body as long as i dont harm anyone else. and i don't even smoke pot! but thats my choice and i shouldn't tell others what to do!

  • I agree with you, but your missing my point. As president Barr, would elimante the Federal drug laws, which are the biggest problem. He would leave the states alone to make thier own drug regulations. Squiggly make be a little brash with his language, but he's trying to make the point that it's a little silly to get hung up on some of the lesser issues when our republic is on her death bed.

  • i would never vote on that issue since i dont smoke. i dont think its the most important issue-why do people put words in my mouth? i think barr would crush mcbama in a debate. i really hope he is able to enter them. he needs 15% nationally to make it, how fucking lame is that? it can happen, but itll be a longshot. but my question for THIS TOPIC is-wouldnt a libertarian say states shouldnt be in the position to tell delawarians what to do with their bodies? again-not MY deciding issue at all

  • First they came for the alcohol, but you didn't drink, so you didn't speak up.... Then they came for the drugs, but you didn't smoke up, so you didn't speak up..... Then they came for liberties, but we were all gone and not here to speak up for you.

  • i hope that wasnt directed towards me.

  • No.... that was directed towards SquigglyP... don't know why it ended up here

  • You see Bob Its not the Department of Justice its the Department of "JUSTUS". Think of government like a condom they think there protecting you but your really getting Screwed

  • CNN labeled bob barr as a contributor, not as a libritarian canidate for president.

  • this is a nation of Laws only to the extent that we adhere to and enforce them.

  • Go Bob Barr! Major threat to that immoral idiot, John McCain.

  • We all expected Bush would do this. No shocker. Sad, but now shocking.

  • Bob Barr is a good man but his stance on drug legalization is surprisingly non-libertarian, even for a former Republican.

  • The AG firings were consistent with all past fascist movements, which purge their own ranks of people who place law and country above the party.

  • LOL @ Bush's speech:

"It'll be regrettable if they head down the partisan road of doing that whole legal thing, and demanding checks and balances."
