The 1963 version with Ann Margaret is better except for this particular scene imo. In the 1963 version AM sings this solo at the beg and the end. No harmonies. I like this scene better.

This guy makes Conrad look like a lecherous gorilla with bad hair doing his best to try to impersonate Elvis...

Tams-Witmark Music Library doesn't own this song, and does not license it with the show. They do, however have exclusive rights to some of the songs that were written for this 1995 version (Let's Settle Down, A Mother Doesn't Matter Anymore, rewrite of Spanish Rose). You may add those to show, only with permission, and extra cost.

see i liked this version the better than the original movie version because this is more true to the broadway version. they changed soooo much in the version dick van dyke was in that i couldnt even stand to watch it more than once. it was just "based" off the story where this is more of a revival version for tv.

My goodness - give me the superior 1963 film version any day! With the sole exception of Vanessa Williams, everyone is devoid of talent, and it sadly shows. Kim in this version is terribly miscast. The actress who portrays Kim was simply too old for the part.
