  • people talk shit about these things but damn little fuckers can pull. these things will out run most 4 cylinder cars. they run 14 flat usually if u know how to shift in the quarter mile.

  • i just got a 2001 ninja yesterday and im impressed with its speed

  • did you start in 2nd?

  • is there any bike that looks exactly like that and more powerful because all the other kawasaki bikes close to it are ugly

  • @infamoussafg I think Suzuki make ones that look like ninja 250s but are a little bit more powerful.

  • @infamoussafg

more powerful bikes are wider and heavier. even the new ninja 250 is wider and heavier.

  • Pretty speedy for a beginner bike. I want one sooooooooo bad!

  • 3rd gear start...

  • Is a yamaha r1 a good first bike?

  • @SKITTLESQUADFTW yea it is. Just make sure when your taking off, take it to about 5k on the tach, then drop the clutch, itll make the take-offs a lot easier. R1's are great for beginners...

  • @quadupdude LOL.

  • The 250 is fun at first, but you will quickly get bored. I wanted a bigger bike after 6months.

  • @DragonAge1103 you're a dumbass

  • @DragonAge1103

your opinion does not couunt here. Why spend your time faming on Ninjas when I know more things to say about Harley than anything else that deals with two wheels.

  • the older 250 didn't rev limit like that.

  • cazzo che video fantastico 1000000 di stelle

  • What gear did you start in? 2nd, right?

  • how long does it take ur best 0-100km ? on this bike? thought of bying a ninja 250, but hopefully it wouldnt be to slow, could it carry a girl on the back without complety being to weak to manage 80-100km ?

  • @m3g1 I no longer have this bike anymore, but I used to ride around town and freeway rides with my fiance all the time with no problem. You do want to seriously think about upgrading the rear shoch though if your going to have a passenger ride often. I think the shock is designed for a rider around 140-160 lbs, so with a passenger you will compress it almost completely unless you replace it.

  • @lawr0155 heh, im about 180pounds =\ and my girl is like 130pounds, maybe this may be to weak for us? does it cost much to switch the shoch? or maybe i could ask the store if i buy it from there.. or maybe i should try to look up a older 600cc kawasaki =)

  • @m3g1 no, u can still cruise at 100-120 with a chick on the back with a bit of power left over. its a surprisingly good bike

  • i wouldnt say they are slow at all. compared to a big sport bike they are nothing of course but theyre not ment to go 160+. i really wanna see if one could stand up to my yz250 to be honest

  • damn i didnt think a 250 could do that

  • @iridecr80 Thats exactly why I posted this video. Lots of people say a ton of crap about 250 ninjas and how their slow, but I like to tell everyone their plenty powerful. They are probably the best bike to learn on. I ride a cbr 600 now and love it even more, but I don't think I could be as good of a rider as I am today without my years on my ninja 250.

  • @lawr0155 only old ninja can do that, i mean the ZZR250.sad but true. old ninja more powerful.

  • yea you nailed it right at 5.5 to 5.75 seconds..thats what the good book says

  • nevermind..read the info much more carefully...whats year is this

  • 2004 ninja

  • is this bike all stock?

  • Dude your shifting is awesome! Clutchless?

  • It's with using the clutch.

  • Somthing i was taught which might help you with your goal for smooth gear shifting, I was taught to release accelerater within a split second clutch in 2mm gear up then smash the accelerater again.. should take less then a second to shift and u wont feel a thing

  • already 10,3K km nice :)

  • miles*

  • nice this makes me wanna get a sport bike lol

  • the bike cruses in second from stop no problem man i do it all the time

  • how do you start in second? i don't think mine would be able to haul my 208lb ass from a dead stop in second

  • its just how you work the clutch. Try it on a level road sometime or on any downhill, you will be suprised how easy it is. I bet you already do it when you do a rolling stop pretty much. I'm like 195 pounds and it has no problem moving. I usually do use first gear though, but here i just stopped to click start on my camera.

  • Pretty much, im 210 and if i ride my 250 it's what i do it's hella different from when i ride my 650

  • if i shift at around 6000 am i shifting too late

  • Is a 250cc ninja legal on the free way? I thought here in CA you need a 350cc bike to go on the free ways

  • I'm not sure about CA, but i don't see why it would be illegal. This bike is way faster than many cars that are out there.

  • na it has to be like 150cc or higher in Ca

    250 is legal

  • This is correct

  • what the hell? u do not need a 350cc bike to go on the freeways in California! Hell, even 125cc Vespa's can go on the highway at 60 mph! And it's legal.

  • 2nd gear I believe it was. First is basically pointless and there is a slight downhill.

  • lol I watched that I was like i know that isnt first gear. I wish first would run up to 50mph that nicely.. even 35 or so would be nice hah. My Triumph runs 75 in 1st lol

  • Why did you start in 3rd (I think) gear?
