@tough619 You ignorant fool - condoms DON'T WORK - they were NEVER designed to work - they clearly stated from the very beginning - NO CONTRACEPTIVE IS 100% PROOF. When these came out - they immediately opened ABORTION CLINICS to harvest babies for their DNA - so they can create a NEW MAN - the 666 man - half man - half beast with male and female organs...
Primary reason for children on the streets is that too many people are producing too many kids. Rubber would help. It's a dilemma. Helping means encouraging people te reproduce even more (like in Africa). Under natural conditions, the part of the people who can't feed themselves would die making further reproduction impossible. The ones who had fun while producing kids should also cope with the consequences. At the end this isn't a natural disaster. It's man made. Why interfere?

"there alot of bogus charitys around. and ClICK on our site." Is there a site that lists them so we can avoid - what is the acid test of a true charity - especially gleaned from the internet.
very nicely done..reminded me of my time in indonesia several years back, where I was followed by kids who begged for money by playing musical instruments made from tissue boxes and a rubber band..it was sad to see that this crisis has become more alarming..
Poverty, homelessness and lack of education are merely side show events; attention needs to be drawn to what is happening in main arena and that is a lack of accountability (or effectiveness)by the political elite.
The corrupt are the biggest traitors to Indonesian Republic and need to be purged and humiliated.
People of Indonesia, you have another tsunami coming... it is a tidal wave of POPULATION, of these masses of young people growing to maturity, each having more babies, all born to poverty, all straining for food, shelter, sex, money, and basic survival needs. You give them no education, no chances. They will not go away. You have less than 10 years to radically change this, or suffer when this million becomes 2 million, then 5 million, and......
@tomwinmax There are more than 240 million people living in Indonesia. I don't see how 5 million poor could 'overrun' the country. We have over 17,000 islands, 1.9 million square kilometers of land in 3 million square kilometers of water. The 5 million you're talking about can pick and choose which island they want. That being said, poverty is a prevalent problem in the republic, but it is merely a symptom. The problem is official corruption that has been so deeply ingrained in the culture.
Wow, very touching to see how many children are affected by poverty in Indonesia my birth place until 8. Now, all ground up in America, I want to do something about this. What can I do? Let me know. I would be been one of these kids if I wasnt adopted from an American Lady from Bogor which is only an hour away from Jakarta. She gave me a better life and opportunity.
Your video is very much touching my heart. I am Indonesian, used to live in Indonesia. But now I live in US. Children here are treated very well, I wish also in Indonesia. But well, I am so sad to think about so many street children, begging for foods, no educations, being abused, etc. I am planning to collect a charity, would be appreciate if I could put your video in my blog I am making. Hopefully it could make a little difference. Thanks, God bless you.
this was the very reason why I had such a difficult time in Indonesia. Gave some children peanuts one day and the people I was with scolded me told me it was dangerous. they are ignored. The gov't does very little for the welfare of it's people. Neither does the rich.
The plight of innocent children anywhere should stir the heart of any right-thinking person. NO child deserves to live in poverty, be exposed to sexual abuse, be ill-treated by society, or be deprived of human affection. In many cases the governments in which such children live are culpable, preferring to enrich themselves and their cronies rather than developing their people.
Dear Students, I like how you attributed your information to reliable sources such as Amnesty International and the United Nations. I'm curious if these photos were taken by you or if you collected them from the Internet. Are you looking at this problem first hand or from faraway? Best, Mrs. White, SAS High School Social Studies Teacher
Thank you for watching, being aware, and commeting on the video!
I and my partner collected those photos throught the Internet.
I used to live in Indonesia, and that is why I focused on this topic. I was very small when I was there, but the existance of these street children was very shocking.
Hope more and more people will be aware of this problem, and help them in some ways...

@ELLENETTENSPERGER Amnesty International and the United Nations - are both corporate organization. The UN is global genocide organization - they have orchestrated the deaths of millions of poor and innocent people - these scum run and own the IMF and the Word Bank - both device used to slave and destroy poor nation and harvest their people and resources for the rich elite
STARS: They really talked about the cause and didn't go off topic. The pictures showed what they were talking about. The music fit the mood. It was really persuasive -- a great persuasive movie. It was really touching.
WISHES: We noticed a number of spelling errors and a missing apostrophe. Some of the white font with a white background were difficult to see.
i've seen many street children in various cities around the world and always found it a strong topic. this is something that just shouldn't be happening and yet it doesn't seem to end
I lived in Indonesia for a few years, and I never thought children living on the streets was a big deal.... But the facts in your video are astonishing and proved to me how unaware I was of the seriousness of this issue.
Great video, i like the way you guys used facts to describe the pictures. Interesting pictures and song selection. The introduction was great, it leads directly to the topic. These pictures made me more aware about this issue, and i saw the posters on the cafe. good job guys
Wow, I have to say- that was a great video. The music was great and the pictures were emotional. Some very sad, hard, facts in there, and to think that this is happening just next door.
Great video guys=] Really effective photos that show the poverty-stricken children, and how they lead their lives. Hopefully, this video will make a big impact on other people who watch it. Definitely made a huge impact on me=]

I'm Tomohiro Kobayashi friend of Kanako.僕はこのビデオを観てインドネシアに日本のように虐待されている子供や両親のいない子供を預かる施設があったほうがよいのではないだろうかと思いました。
