@TheDive99 No prob, I appreciate your apology. I am just here to share my cherished recipes with shortcuts along the way for the overextended and busy home cook. (which covers 90% of us :) Not sure what you blame society for...but ah well, there is lots to blame on society for sure! ;)

@TheDive99 funny I usually hate wearing nail polish but I wore it for this shoot. Thanks for your insightful commentary on how nail polish is a measure of cooking talent. Unfortunately you have never tried my food to be able to judge, but if I ever get the opportunity to cook for you I will make sure my fingers are grubby and dirty. :)

Blanche is able to impart a lot of information about Middle Eastern cuisine while keeping the show entertaining. Her instructions are easy to follow. I felt like I was sitting in a good friend's kitchen watching her cook. And I know what we are having for dinner tonight. I can smell the caramelized onions now. Looking forward to seeing 'Feast in the Middle East' hit the prime time!
