  • is it illegal to have a real sword in california

  • Is this sword able to dish out blows and take some; and is this sword light enough and balanced enough for simulated play/fights?

  • wow thts relly relly gay i meen seriously its just a prop from a movie i meen if they broke tht sword the actors who used it the wouldnt giv 2 shits and if u broke it u would cry and ask ur mum who u still live with at age 40 to buy u a new one cause u make a 30 dollar salory and and cannot not afford a fake sword from a movie relly relly gay

  • @harryjd100 If you're going to mock people for something in which they have a passion at least learn to spell. Do you perchance enjoy football?

  • i appreciate having a glimpse at what it looks like in some1's hand, other than just stock photos that r meant to look good. Im assuming this is a United Cutlery Hadhafang?

  • i want it soooo bad but i live in greece and they can't send it here :/

  • ok It may sound a bit wierd but I have a question: is this sword any strong or will it break if you start bashing things with it? I mean, I know its stainless steel and stuff, but so was my kitchen knife and it broke above the hilt when I dropped it...

  • cool..

  • Is this the offical UC sword or is it another version?

  • where do they get their information from? It seems to me unlikely that either Idril or Arwen would really have a sword. Did the movie makers make up the back story or is there actually any truth to it?

  • there is some truth in it as Idril did weild a sword even though it was never named in the book. The art team in the film gave the sword a name so there is some truth

  • If we're going by the Lost Tales version of the Fall of Gondolin, Idril seems to only ever have weilded a sword ONE time. She's very unlikely to have owned her own sword since it wasn't a custom among Elves to make women fight in wars. She probably just picked it up somewhere. LT doesn't give you the Xena warrior princess vibe you get from Arwen in those movies.

  • lol well sorry if i was missleading but u have definatly given a better answer. I have read the lost tales of the fall of Gondolin i got my information from another book that was written about the film so obviousley u have to better answer.

  • If you look in the appendixes of the LOTR series, you will see that in fact the name of the sword was always there, created by Tolkien.
