Yes, well-intentioned video. However, the conclusions are overly simplistic, I believe. Back when the Earth had only 1 billion people, there were densely populated areas, and also a lot of starvation. If that were the case today, many people would say it is because we have too many people. It is based on the fallacy that because there are starving people, there is a shortage of food, and thus the only solution is population reduction. However, there is more than enough food for everyone.

Take the worlds population (roughly 6,500,000,000) and divide it in to the total acreage of Texas (Total Area Texas covers 268,601 square miles (171,904,640 acres).) Now how many square feet in an acre? There are 43,560 square feet in one acre. Go ahead divide and you will find that "every single person" will have enough room to build a small but humble home.

All of these economies are booming by the way; growing @ 7-10% per year. These people have lots of problems and lots of poverty but should be allowed a chance to succeed. Most factories in third world countries never pay any tax, so almost no real wealth goes into their economies.

Back when the Earth had only 1 billion people, there were densely populated areas, and also a lot of starvation. If that were the case today, many people would say it is because we have too many people. It is based on the fallacy that because there are starving people, there is a shortage of food, and thus the only solution is population reduction. Take the worlds population (roughly 6,500,000,000) and divide it in to the total acreage of Texas (Total Area Texas covers 268,601 square miles (171,904,640 acres).) Now how many square feet in an acre? There are 43,560 square feet in one acre. Go ahead divide and you will find that "every single person" will have enough room to build a small but humble home.

The stench of human waste would permiate the air, diseases would spread faster, water would be contaminated. People would not sleep well due to noise.
