The Fantasia by Alonso de Mudarra, whose birth and deadh dates are unknown, comes from his "Tres Libros de Musica en Cifras para Vihuela" (1546), the third known tablature book (the first was by Milan and the second by Narvaez). A great deal of music is compressed in the short space of this free-flowing piece, which starts like a song with accompaniment in broken chords and flowers into intricate polyphony. Emilio Pujol transcription? Thanks.
well done !
