Contrary to some who have posted, I think that beating all 100 levels even WITH juggling is an accomplishment that takes at least some degree of skill. To those who call it cheating: I'm willing to bet that you searched this game on YouTube because you hadn't beat it yet and were hoping to find a strategy that would. If anything, THAT is cheating, finding out how to win without learning how to do it yourself, and would require little or effort. Stop whining and appreciate Zeul2's skill ppl! ;)
I'm on your side Zeul2...I've played this game a fair amount and have gotten to the point where I can juggle pretty well. I can get all the way to wave 98 then those mfing air creeps get me every time....I would love to see someone build a maze that can kill just one wave of 20 creeps that have 250000+ hp without juggling. Let alone consecutive waves! No wonder there aren't any videos of it because it simply can't be done! Hence the descriptive word IMPOSSIBLE. Fuck all you juggle haters.
Zeul2 is clearly right. It would be like saying you shouldn't use your rooks in Chess, because it's cheating. Or if you have an ace in Poker, you should fold, because it's cheating. Or if you get a free throw in basketball, you should miss on purpose, because it's cheating. Or you shouldn't use Boost towers in DTD, because it's cheating. If you choose not to juggle to voluntarily increase the challenge, that's your choice, but it's a tactic like any other. The game was designed with it in mind.

@ezzzquire as for me btw, I think that since the developers made the destruction time increase each time you delete a tower, juggling is a part of the game regulated by developers, so it is normal. I killed loads of time trying to do this even with juggling. So if someone managed to do without it, then it's a must-see thing, isn't it?
@mjswdr I have done it on hard without juggling, but the 100 level is impossible without juggling. It requires way too many anti air to survive, unlike the typical hard setting. I do doubt your claim that you can do the 100 levels without jugglings. Lvels 91 and 98, the big air will kill you.

To whoever says juggling is cheating, IT IS NOT. It is an great way of dealing with modes with a lot of levels. The100 is impossible without juggling, and in 1.2 the 100 is impossible even with juggling anyway. @Gravedig00, for 99 Flying boss u better have some spikes to halt it, blizzards to slow it, and storms boostered to do mainly most of the damaging. See Mr. Pegleg's videos for an ideal way of KOing thy Flying boss.
lol, it makes me laugh when i hear or read people saying that juggling is cheating, i have desktop tower defense for the DS and in the help section you can press a button that says juggling, it then explains what juggling is and states that juggling is necessary to complete certain game modes. so obviously juggling is not cheating and was thought of originally by the game designers.
Your method is pretty much FANTASTIC! And juggling isn't cheating, I would say it's using the opponent's weak point - taking the shortest route ~everytime~.
you all know that juggling is technically cheating. When the game was thought up, "juggling" to beat the levels was not thought of obviously. So when you say that the 100 challenge was completed,...technically it was, yes, but you still had to use a means other than just building towers, so your maze wouldn't be able to be used by just anyone. In other words, if I saw how your maze was laid out without the creeps moving, I wouldn't be able to use it unless I knew your juggling pattern.
I have proved time after time juggling is not cheating, but people continue to give the same ignorant arguments. Let me explain one more time. Cheat is defined by Google dictionary as someone who does'nt follow a set of rules that they should be obeying. There is no rule against juggling. Also, I emailed the creators about the issue. Yes, the main source of damage for ground creeps was just a single Quake tower. Dont underestimate the fully upgraded Quake tower which does 2000dmg every three seconds to all mobs in range, so if there is 20 creeps in range thats 40,000dmg per blast!
The reason I only use one Quake tower is because ground mobs are not the problem and can be handled easily over time by juggling. Building any more than one Quake tower would just be taking money away from the real threat... FLYERS!
Thanks man. By the way, selling the pellet tower can cause very long sell times so if your good (like you are) you can plan ahead when you need to sell.
But if you aren't very good, you can (for a little more money) replace the pellet tower with a snap tower and just fire that when you need to switch it.
First great achievement this game really is tough to beat and can get really frustrating if you trying to figure it out for days.
Just my question, you say you don`t want to waste money on killing the ground troups but wouldnt it bring more money to build a second fully upgraded Quake tower then it would cost building it? Thats the experience I made but it might be that you are better at jugling and therefore can use the one Quake tower more effectively.
With bring more money I mean you would get more money from killing more ground units that you could use for fighting the flyers than it cost you to build the Quake tower.
Cause thats key I think to find the right balance of safing money to defend the flyers and building towers to get more money from the ground units.

I'm pretty sure its impossible to beat The 100 without juggling. And juggling is still mad hard at the really high levels. I tried the technique in the video and managed to get to 84 before getting raped by the flying creeps.
thats how i do it when i play. i make an abnoxious maze for them to go through so it gives me more time before they reach the end lol. it doesnt exactly work as well with the flying units though... :( ive never beaten the 100. :( (more sad faces!!!) :( :(

You can imagine it took a long time, probably close to a month.
Copy the method, pay close attention the very limited amount of ground damage and the juggling method and you will be blasting past level 50 in no time, good luck.
Well then you are an idiot. I emailed the developers of the game and asked them wether juggling was cheating. To which they said its impossible to complete "the 100" without juggling, and they would have removed the ability to juggle if was cheating. So dont be so ignorant, it simply is not cheating.

Sure, I copied the idea of juggling, but I had never seen anyone complete "the 100" before me, although I am sure many have. I was not aiming to look cool, I just wanted to share the method with other people in the DTD community because I am a huge fan of the game.

it's funny how people names every possible method to complete certain games "cheat" or "cheap", when they themselves are unable to find any non-cheating ways to complete the game.
yeah, juggling is indeed more strategic than not doing it, you have to sell and place the towers at precise moments to avoid letting the creeps spread wide; and when flying comes you have to let the creeps move away from your strong point so some other towers can focus on the flying creeps

This guy soooo cheated. He has a bash tower and 2x blizzard tower as the only means of ground damage and lvl 50+ waves are getting blown away in 3-4 juggle?!?! I'm calling BS on that. Also, I had twice the swarm towers with 100%-200% buff from boost towers on each swarn plus the snap and blizzard tower and still can't down the lvl 99/100 waves.
I didn't cheat. You are wrong "again" about my damage, I have 1 Quake, 4 Blizzard, and 65 pellet towers. The Quake tower alone inflicts 2000 damage every 3 seconds, sometimes damaging 20-40 mobs at once. A level 50 = 5000life.
The real challenge here is killing the flyers NOT ground mobs which are pretty easy. You won't kill the flyers without having the best configuration of boost, storm and snap towers. If your configuration doesn't work, then try one that does work like mine. Good luck.
There is nothing wrong with Juggling (or making the creeps turn around by altering the path), This is cool, but it is also cool to see how far you can get without juggling.
juggling just means you have 2 paths and 1 tower covering 1 path when the creeps go down far into the path that the tower isent blocking you quickly delete it off of the other path and replace it on the second path causeing the creeps to go all away around and repeating
haha, this is all juggling, but i don't see anything wrong in it... it is an upgraded version, so if it was suppose to be illegal, it wouldn't exist, the makers would make selling towers and stuff longer.
Map I use that's a little different than this might be easier for people. I make my intial path a little shorter, so that if both pathways are open the creeps will always go for that path. It helps reduce the number of times you have to juggle.
The argument that "juggling" is cheating is really quite weak. The game developers set the rules, if they didn't want to allow juggling then they would find a way to restrict it through the mechanics of the game; not allowing the creeps to turn around for example.
The game developers allow juggling, therefore it simply is not cheating.
Not to mention every time you delete a building, the delete timer gets longer and longer.
That's basically the games way of saying "Oh you can juggle, but we won't make it easy on you." It shows a clear thought of juggling into the game mechanics to beat the 100.
Why mention "no cheat" in brackets though, why not just say "juggeling" because you know full well that alot of people find juggeling to be cheating adn therefore are going to assume you actually beat the thing without juggeling given the title.
I did not realise juggling was such a big issue for so many people until I uploaded this video. The reason I put "no cheat" was because I have seen alot of hacked versions of the game on youtube.
Juggling is a strategy. People complaining are doing it for no reason. You hit it on the head a few comments back. The developers could slow you down a LOT if they didn't care about juggling.

I'm pretty sure its impossible to beat The 100 without juggling. And juggling is still mad hard at the really high levels. I tried the technique in the video and managed to get to 84 before getting raped by the flying creeps.

thats how i do it when i play. i make an abnoxious maze for them to go through so it gives me more time before they reach the end lol. it doesnt exactly work as well with the flying units though... :( ive never beaten the 100. :( (more sad faces!!!) :( :(

This is the best strategy I've seen. The way you sell/build towers simultaneously so that the creeps can go to another lane quickly is smart

nice work man, how long did it take you to master this maze? I have only got to like level 35 I usually play with 10K and only get to like level 50 , takes a lot of patience, also what is your peoples problem with "juggling" seriously its part of the game its a "strategy" get over yourselves

You can imagine it took a long time, probably close to a month.
Copy the method, pay close attention the very limited amount of ground damage and the juggling method and you will be blasting past level 50 in no time, good luck.

Well then you are an idiot. I emailed the developers of the game and asked them wether juggling was cheating. To which they said its impossible to complete "the 100" without juggling, and they would have removed the ability to juggle if was cheating. So dont be so ignorant, it simply is not cheating.

You can whine and bitch all you like about juggling. However, the developers tell me it's not cheating to juggle, since it is their game, it is their rules. Juggling is not cheating, and that fact is irrefutable. I think that finishes this argument quite succinctly.

Sure, I copied the idea of juggling, but I had never seen anyone complete "the 100" before me, although I am sure many have. I was not aiming to look cool, I just wanted to share the method with other people in the DTD community because I am a huge fan of the game.
So yes I may be lazy and unoriginal but I know one thing even more lazy and unoriginal, and that's coming her just to start flaming about juggling...

yeah, juggling is indeed more strategic than not doing it, you have to sell and place the towers at precise moments to avoid letting the creeps spread wide; and when flying comes you have to let the creeps move away from your strong point so some other towers can focus on the flying creeps

This guy soooo cheated. He has a bash tower and 2x blizzard tower as the only means of ground damage and lvl 50+ waves are getting blown away in 3-4 juggle?!?! I'm calling BS on that. Also, I had twice the swarm towers with 100%-200% buff from boost towers on each swarn plus the snap and blizzard tower and still can't down the lvl 99/100 waves.

I didn't cheat. You are wrong "again" about my damage, I have 1 Quake, 4 Blizzard, and 65 pellet towers. The Quake tower alone inflicts 2000 damage every 3 seconds, sometimes damaging 20-40 mobs at once. A level 50 = 5000life.
The real challenge here is killing the flyers NOT ground mobs which are pretty easy. You won't kill the flyers without having the best configuration of boost, storm and snap towers. If your configuration doesn't work, then try one that does work like mine. Good luck.

juggling just means you have 2 paths and 1 tower covering 1 path when the creeps go down far into the path that the tower isent blocking you quickly delete it off of the other path and replace it on the second path causeing the creeps to go all away around and repeating
but the sell timer makes this process alot harder

haha, this is all juggling, but i don't see anything wrong in it... it is an upgraded version, so if it was suppose to be illegal, it wouldn't exist, the makers would make selling towers and stuff longer.

this is an Old version of dtd. In newer version u can't sell towers as fast as in old versions. So this design wouldn't work.

Nope. I nearly finished it using this as a guide. Stage 92; 11,900 points (sigh:badge). But yeah, it works. You just need to pay attention.

Map I use that's a little different than this might be easier for people. I make my intial path a little shorter, so that if both pathways are open the creeps will always go for that path. It helps reduce the number of times you have to juggle.

I can get to lv 70-75 w/o juggle, but I can never make it any further. This is a great example of how this game can be beaten.

The argument that "juggling" is cheating is really quite weak. The game developers set the rules, if they didn't want to allow juggling then they would find a way to restrict it through the mechanics of the game; not allowing the creeps to turn around for example.
The game developers allow juggling, therefore it simply is not cheating.

Not to mention every time you delete a building, the delete timer gets longer and longer.
That's basically the games way of saying "Oh you can juggle, but we won't make it easy on you." It shows a clear thought of juggling into the game mechanics to beat the 100.

Why mention "no cheat" in brackets though, why not just say "juggeling" because you know full well that alot of people find juggeling to be cheating adn therefore are going to assume you actually beat the thing without juggeling given the title.

I did not realise juggling was such a big issue for so many people until I uploaded this video. The reason I put "no cheat" was because I have seen alot of hacked versions of the game on youtube.

Juggling is a strategy. People complaining are doing it for no reason. You hit it on the head a few comments back. The developers could slow you down a LOT if they didn't care about juggling.
