Okay, just to clear this up whether PJ died or not..

If you watch his plain ingame [easier if you wide open cockpit] you see his plane go down in one piece and only light smoke, as if he'd been "neutralized".

To counter this, you see glass shattering - the windwscreen/canopy. Plus also there is the flowers laid by the wreckage of part of a F-16, plus also Namco have confirmed in writting that PJ does perish, despite all our hopes..
