  • I thought it was gonna be slow being a Diesel... then it just launched... are you sure it hasn't got a Jet engine?!

  • Fuck me... that's quick!

  • and its so quiet to. awesomeness

  • And I beat most things that pull up and try and race me only thing to beat me so far is my buddy's 700rwhp skyline

  • @dustin904451 LMFAO. Sure he has a Skyline.

  • @olivetreeization You can get R32's and R33's easily in Canada bro...

  • My buddy has one and I have 620 at the wheels 4wheel boosted launch he gains on me hard at 200 when I'm running out of gear and pushing wind

  • 0-60 in 4.2 sec + 11sec to build boost.

  • my 08 dodge 6.7 is a monster i just cracked the bell housing all around wouldn't even think of trading it in for a car i rape roush mustangs anything that pulls up beside me beat a srt-10 single cab short box by 4 lengths in my 4 door 2500

  • @dustin904451 u only beat roush mustangs?? how much hp?

  • @haxilla untill you have beat a tuned up car in a 9000 pound diesel monster dont talk its a rush cant even explain the feeling or the looks you get everyones jaws drop. if you really wanna go fast fuck the car and buy street bike

  • @Ackman172 That's why trucks are designed to go off road, if you wan't to go fast buy a fucking car.

  • @haxila No, trucks are just designed to be trucks. They do all kinds of things and can be whatever the owner wants. They can also be very fast. Some diesel owners like having a truck that's faster than most cars. Nothing says you can't buy a fucking car if that's what you want, nobody cares.

  • @haxila To go fast you don't put on bigger tires and jack them UP.

  • @weltz99 no see funny thing is you dont know anything... trucks are built tougher than your little honda so the front axles wouldnt rip out unless youve seen a 1000hp duramax have its front axles ripped out

  • @denny099999999 actually pard, gm was the worse ive driven as a work truck underground mining. the best were the ford and then the dodge. gm chassis suck ass. tie rods breaking, steering box shit out and the front suspension was shit for work. now if you wanted something that rode like a caddy then perhaps a d max. the ford chassis and trans and interior all better. abviously engines had issues and the only reason you hear about fords broke down is because THERE ARE MORE FORDS OUT THERE!

  • must be the taillights add 200 horse and another 50 with the gas door :)

  • @haxila Not really they look just as good a "tad" lower than stock with wide tires. Would you rather him have it look like that or have him total the vehicle so you can comment about how his clean fast truck looks so terrible.

  • @weltz99 you dont know a thing about cars.....

  • screw you.....probably know way more than you buddy. I can get roughly 900 ft*lbs of torque at the wheel with a 2.7 liter toyota tacoma hahahaha

  • @haxila theres no "correct" way to modify your car.

  • whats the top end in MPH

  • @weltz99 unless the front was beefed up...think man think...1000 sounds reasonable to me and from the looks of the launch....might just take a little bit more than that to shear an SRT-8 Grand Cherokee....see ya..thanks for reading..

  • @weltz99 I don't understand why nobody will believe this, 1000hp dmax's are not that big of a deal. Why is it so hard to believe? 3.0 turbo? No, hear how quickly it spooled a 3.0 takes a while to spool, this thing has twins. Dual fuelers, yes it has them. The whole engine has been gone through obviously. Why would it rip the front axles before the rear? And more than likely that wouldn't happen. Plenty of 1200hp+ 4wd drag trucks with slicks all aound and that doesn't happen.Launching with 40psi

  • @weltz99 Yeah right.....5300rpm, front axles being ripped out, no stack....you don't have a clue about this.

  • @denny099999999 Isuzu made the duramax engine. >_>

  • @1waffleiron im not going to explain this to a child. everyone that thinks isuzu made duramax is a dumbass. ill just tell u that it was a joint effort as in 50/50 and when they designed it isuzu was owned by gm and was in usa when they made the motor. isuzu never once made a v8 duramax. isuzu makes v6 duramax. isuzu technicians were payed by gm to help gm technician design the motor. and made by dmax which is also gm owned.

  • @denny099999999 I'm very familiar with this story. GM paid Isuzu to design it. Now GM has 60% ownership of the joint effort. Isuzu and GM together make it. But since Isuzu designed it, some could still say it's foreign made. Just sayin'. (I'm a Chevy guy, so don't think I'm biased against them.)

  • @1waffleiron thats true but gm makes the duramax v8 so i dont really find anything jap about it. everything was in america or american. and i wouldnt really find it a big deal. maybe thats why the duramax engine is so reliable motor.they defiantly did when they were making my 1.5lturbo motor inside my i-mark. ive got a 5 speed manual and i swear 5th gear never ends ive gone 280km on the anthony henday in edmonton and thats with the 110 hp turbo motor all stock minus the exhaust. i hear u tho.

  • @1waffleiron like the main thing i pretty much mean is like at least gm bought out a company and make their own truck when ford just previously just bought them off international and same for dodge with cummins

  • @bigstudtommy93 true but i was just bein an asshole. either way gm aint bad. ford isnt that bad just not my preference especially new ford a old modded ford is pretty decent. and they look pretty good too.

  • Black smoke explods! Clears chevy is gone lol

  • ho ly shittt

  • I dont like chevy but damn that is a sexy ass truck

  • that is a fast truck

  • I think i just shit myself.

  • Wow this thing is wicked.

  • do yu know th 0-60 timed?

  • Shit that would have some torque!

  • I don't care what anybody says that thing is fast!

  • @JDMass617 What Ackman said. It was obvious that it was a sticker for the work done on the truck. If you can read you wouldn't look like such a pos.

  • @MadBullBunny Well we got it established its a pos, but what if I could read it? Doesn't change anything, it just says MA from what is visible.

  • @JDMass617 The owner lives in Canada. The truck was built in '06, it was the first DMax to do 1000 rearwheel hp. It does 10sec 1/4 miles. Many will do that now, but back then it was a milestone. That "big ass sticker" is who did the engine/transmission.....this isn't a company truck, dumb shit.

  • @Ackman172 oh yea cause I know that that sticker is for the engine/transmission company, dumb shit. On the other hand nice story bro.

  • @JDMass617 You tube brings out the shitforbrains. That big sticker is Merchant Automotive. There are no stickers anymore. Back when it was built that truck was about the most powerful one out there. Even today there are damn few mid-10 second vehicles of any kind driving around on the street, and this weighs about 7,000 lbs. It's fast. Whether you like the look or prefer lifted with big tires, that thing is no pos except to dumbfucks who don't know any better. And I'm not your bro.

  • sshhh it's done.

  • @Ackman172 a 10.9 is stil a ten second truck right?

  • @zachattack83 ya, under 11 seconds, aka 10.xxxx is 10 seconds.

  • @SlimChris76 i dont think u even know what riced is....

    this is not to mutch....

  • @JDMass617 Whats wrong with companies advertising their work? If you owned a company and made a 1000hp dmax, you would want to advertise it for other people with trucks. Dumb shit.

  • Hm not bad :P

  • @loostonerool Think whatever you want but a 400 horse powerstroke is a dog. Kid you're ignorant and delusional.

  • ok, i blinked... where did the truck go?

  • @loostonerool Yeah it really is 1000hp and you don't know much about this stuff.

  • whats the 0-60 bro ?

  • pass the smog test forsure

  • @2dumb4aname There is no smog test on a duramax diesel fasho!!!!

  • is that difficult to get the engine to 1000hp? and how much is stock? thanks

  • LMAO---1000HP. 10-sec spool for the 60" turbos, that's usable. NOT!

  • Oh, I see that the Americans are concerned about fuel economy and start to modify diesel engines. :D

    Now seriously. Nicely done, mate.

  • Cool that it's got power, but man that truck is ugly as crap. Looks like someone hit up the auto aisle at Walmart and bought all the retarded "dress up" junk they sell.

  • DAMN

  • @steveMCHS no he either drives a honda or a huffy. he just wishes he could afford to drive a truck but he dont make enough at mcdonalds.

  • @The1youenvy so true man so true lol

  • there goes my my money

  • Dumb force, not smart power. -1

  • @TheBubba1992 try getting 35 miles to a gallon in ur shitty truck

  • sick ass truck and to all the people who say duramax sucks and dosent last is a retard ive had my 06 gmc duramax since 09 and ive put it through hell ive jumped it bashed it put hell on the moter and not one thing has broke the only thing ive had to do is get the oil changed so all u dodge and ford fan boys need to know this isnt the past its the present and the duramax isnt shit

  • Got Smoke?

  • duramax go fast just dont last!!! rather be cummin and smokin than stroken and broken!!

  • Pooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH !

  • Wicket !!!

  • low range launch??? shifts seemed too quick

  • that thing launches like it just got rearended by a dump truck!! impressive!

  • @dwpride As far as im concerned there is a big difference between ricers and tuners A ricer has the body kit that is dragging on the ground and a spoiler that tands higher than the roof when running 100hp I respect tuners, If i had the money i would have one. Im not trying to be a dick, im just saying, ricers are stupid, i dont really care about hp, Im all about torque i want to be able to take off from wherever i am, whatever im doing each vehicle is respectable in its own field.

  • @TheBubba1992 ricers and tuners are all the same in one aspect, they both will get blown away by a big block chevy =)

  • @MyCoolAimName1

Yes, lifts are queer for daily drivers that rarely go off-road. They make handling worse and decrease fuel economy.

The Chevy 350 is one of the best motors ever made, but it's old tech and in the iteration you have, it's terribly de-tuned and slower than shit. It's not any worse than the other gas motors of its time though. At least it didn't shit out spark plugs like the Fords did.

The Powerstroke and Cummins were the only decent truck motors during the 90s.

  • @fubecabr idgaf about gas, it's money well spent in my opinion. it's got 300,000+ miles on the original motor, and a rebuilt transmission.

  • not a fan at all of chevy/gmc or duramax. but this is really impressive.

  • The 6.6 liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. NOT JAPAN This is for all you dipshits that think you know. some of the powerstrokes were built in brazil though.

  • pshh ill beat u with my skateboard son

  • too much fuel not enough air

  • @Mooseboy240 yes exactly right!

  • hella fuck ozone

  • trucks are made for work.... thats why they were built.

  • I'm surprised this truck doesn't leave black marks half way down the street...even my uncle's Duramax can do that and it's only chipped.

Not doubting the power or anything obviously this truck gets up and goes just a bit surprised.

  • @Pendemic its called a launch ur not ment to spin ur tires. and its most likely in 4wd.

  • @Pendemic Like i've stated before this wasn't a full throttle launch, just a soft launch to test out the new spool.

  • @boosteddiesel That's right. And with the power this truck makes, even in 4WD you can't do much of a boosted launch. With street tires inflated to street driving pressure it'll just sit there and burn.

  • holy shit.. haha

  • 1000 hp ? fasttt no way it can beat a bugatti though :P

  • @Hackerkid16 typicaly true but when a diesel truck was built it was built to tow with touqe not top speed.lol

  • @Hackerkid16

    Bugatti Veyron- $2,600,000 .1,184 bhp. 0-60 in 2.46 seconds.

    Red Victor 1 (1972 Vauxhall Victor )- $100,000. 2200bhp. 0-60 1 second.

Never underestimate the power of a redneck and his stickers..

  • i like duramax's but i dont like that exhaust set up.....

  • @ryankovacs100 You would know.

  • @jellyjamacain if it was it'd be spinning tire at least

  • @ryankovacs100 It's called a 4x4 launch.

  • @jellyjamacain but still it would do more than that

  • @ryankovacs100 with good tires and clean asphalt, and maybe not quite full throttle launch, i believe that's a 1000 pony truck, or at least close to it. if a top fuel dragster can keep 8000 hp in check, i think a 4x4 could handle 1000.

  • @jakthesmack yeah maybe he wasn't like really on it idk

  • Whats Dmax?

  • @mydogzty um idk if ur just being sarcastic or anything but it stands for Duramax

  • @murcelago well sorry for not being that educated to even guess what it means, but yea i wasn't being sarcatsic....

  • @mydogzty i wasnt bieng smart or anything, idk there could be ppl out there that dont.

  • What wheels are on that truck?

  • Sorry meant bigass truck

  • I hate chevy but I gotta admit. That's fast for a biggest truck

  • are the 1988 6.2l gmc sierra 2500 any good im looking for a new truck that is very powerful and that wont break

  • @TeenSK8SaintJohn If you want power and something reliable, the 6.2 is most definitely not the way to go. They were non-turbo'd, very doggy not much power and they were just all around pieces of crap. And i have no personal vendetta against them they are just really badly built engines. Then the 6.5 after it was just as crappy. Stay away from GM diesels they didnt work, why do you think GM has the duramax now? its designed by Izuzu

  • @boosteddiesel we got a 6.2 in a 3500 dump not much power...

  • @boosteddiesel the only thing useful from a military grade GM is the axels and trans

  • @boosteddiesel It was only partially designed by Isuzu.

  • @boosteddiesel Did that truck get put in "Diesel magazine" a few years back? I remember the sticker on the tailgate... And I remembered the rims on a Chevy that had 1000HP. I swear its that one!

  • @boosteddiesel Those weren't GM diesels any more than the current Duramax. The 6.2 and 6.5 were Detroit Diesels. At the time GM owned a large portion of Detroit Diesel, the same as they owned a large portion of Isuzu.

  • @boosteddiesel I must give this video a thumbs up. You are about the only GM guy I've ever heard of that admits the duramax is an Isuzu engine. They make a good diesel, I don't know why so many GM boys are ashamed of it.

  • @boosteddiesel actually your wrong the electronics in the duramax system is designed by izuzu its a common mistake i thought the same thing until my friend showed me on his work truck *which is a duramax* where it has that.

  • @boosteddiesel GM's diesel engines werent that good back then but now they have better ones and by the way GM owns izuzu so if izuzu makes them they are making their own

  • @boosteddiesel hello .. can u tell me how much gas spends this MONSTER on every 60 miles ?

  • @boosteddiesel actually the duramax is made by a company called d-max. izuzu and gm went in together to have the motors made

  • @boosteddiesel But-izuzu-engines-are-designed-and-made-by-mitsubishi

  • @TeenSK8SaintJohn

If you need something cheaper, go with an early powerstroke 7.3L, 7.3L IDI, or early 12v cummins. They're all rock solid reliable. The GM 6.2L has block issues and the 6.5L has injector pump issues. Both are shitty, but the 6.5L is less shitty.

  • thats bad ass but i would have gotteb a short bed.

  • holy shit and git lol

  • I just want to say, for all of these would-be bigots in here, This truck is putting out alot of HP for a Duramax. BUT, Camaros, Trans Ams, and Eclipses alike all have their place in automotive world. Any car owner who actually knows their stuff, and i mean really knows, (as in what exactly the fine print means), has their right to express his or her opinions about their vehicle. I own a 92 Eclipse GSX and i believe i can get that thing going pretty fast, but its nothing compared to this truck!

  • That's sick !!!!

  • 0:09

  • @MyCoolAimName1

HOw dare you call it your bitch....does it spend time in the kithcen? NO

  • cool

  • @boosteddiesel Seems BMW diesels are quite unknown in the states,

    look up BMW 330d 335d 530d 535d 635d,

just showing how nice a diesel can be while still beeing clean.

  • @TheBubba1992 Why the hell do you want a 6.5 they are one of the biggest POS ever built. And at the time this video was posted it WAS the worlds first and only 1000hp dmax, if you notice this video was posted 3 years ago. So it is not exactly relevant now.

  • @boosteddiesel almost 4 years now.

  • @boosteddiesel haha your write those 6.5s are hunks of shit!! they can only produce smoke.. thats it. heck a ford 6.9l idi or 7.3l idi non turbo's produce as much hp as a 6.5l turbo!!

  • @boosteddiesel And this truck, and owner from Alberta Canada.

  • 5@boosteddiesel No the 6.5s were the biggest P.O.S ever made....The 6.2s were......The 6.5s are next in line...

  • @1tirefryer , I think the 6.0 ford deserves a place in the biggest POS nomination

  • @duramax789 I agree

  • @boosteddiesel Fords are worse, go do your homework... cause you can't compare a 6.5 to a 6.6 or 7.3 or any other engine...besides a 6.2

  • @Mimiruxx "Do you realize if he launched that truck in two wheel drive he'd snap both his axels?" theres your sign folks

  • @giantpunis what?

  • truck is fuckin nutty!

  • @doctorright First of all, I didn't reference you as being gay. I just said you suck huge dick. Second of all, if you watch the video, you can clearly see his front wheels spinning when he launchs, which would make me correct. Last, if he changed the rear end the truck would be completely useless to drive on the street. Tall gears just kill higher speed RPMs. This might not be a track truck, none really are. But its still prolly fun to drive street or track. So sir, please lick my taint.

  • @Mimiruxx well first off when theres next to no weight on the front wheels, believe it or not, they actually spin much easier, so no that definitely does not make you correct if you still think your right then shit... i have to give you credit for being that stubborn. i don't want to lick your taint, im actually quite straight.. i think about females whenever i refer to my genitals, besides it would be too awkward... like i don't even know you, right?

  • Not expected..props

  • jesus look at it take off, like a rocket!

  • Does this video adequately satisfy your fat skydaddy SUV-driving ass?

  • EVERYTIME THAT THING LAUNCHES I SHIT A NEW KITTEN

  • Does that got the Izuzu 4 cylinder diesel?...LOL

  • HOLY FUCK. thats fucking sick!!!

  • thank god for rednecks and trucks.i couldnt stand a world without them!! id like to see that little car tow a trailer with 20,000 pounds goin up a hill. black smoke bitches!!!!!! hahaha

  • Awesome!! Diesel Power-3

  • @boosteddiesel Because the diesel engine is superior. Yes, the weight is higher, but durability increases much more. Furthermore, if you buy a tdiesel that isn't a 4x4, you're a fucking idiot. It's not even really a truck.

  • @chrisw386 isnt the duramax a 6.6l v8 diesel? and the CUMMINS a 5.9 or 6.7L I6?

  • @Monsterenergymoto101 .. So? Fuck, I drive an old '93 ford with a 7.3L. It was once true that displacement ruled, but not any more. A smaller Dmax or Cummins could smoke it nowadays. Engine design rules supreme. Not you're shitty, faggotty fan-boy idea of power.

  • @progtentious how in any way was my comment about power, I simply corrected him he said "not bad for a v6" the duramax is a v8 why dont you read you ignorant fuck instead of just running your mouth off, if you would have read I corrected him on a simply mistake i never said anything about your truck not making poweror anything of that matter

  • @doctorright Why would you say Diesels aren't for Drag racing? They can put out lots of power really fast, compared to most Muscle cars, the F250 Powerstroke ( sorry for the ford references ) can beat the Mustangs( 4th gen and lower ) 0-60 time, Diesel i'd say is great for Dragging, and Ricers no, people who buy Japanese cars that know what they're doing with them, yes, Seeing a Lime green civic with a shopping kart Spoiler is Ricer, but a 500 horse Civic isn't... just my 2cents.

  • @MyCoolAimName1 AMEN!!!

  • @doctorright sounds like you don't know what your talking about.

  • that thing SHITS black smoke lol. fucckk

  • @boosteddiesel and have a 1.4 second 60 foot time

  • Yea I said it

  • Good grief that launch was fast. I'm a Ford guy all the way but damn.

  • Dmax puts them all to shame

  • @83dannyw Lol a Stock Crown vic/Grand marquis can fuck up 90% of the gay ricers out there, that's really sad. I drive a stock 2004 grand marquis and i'm proud. I have fucked more ricers than i care to count XD

  • cool tail lights bro

  • this arguement is never going to end....

  • I just heaqrd that they are using a chipped diesel in the next James Bond so they don't have to do any special effects for the smoke screen

  • both people are retards vvv 4 banger will not beat a v8 if everything is equal...its just plain physics retard. and second off really? 350z and you got an automatic? sucha waste...

  • @smashmehardalways no no i got a t56 6 speed manual and lS1 350 put in it as i wrote the first time. the four banger boy just doesn't know a thing about the automobile i guess he thought a t56 was an automatic. he may actually have a retardation so i might stop ripping on him.

  • @doctorright LOL a t56 isnt an automatic! omg ok nvm sorry my bad. wait you have a ls1 in a 350? or is the 350 the displacement?

  • @smashmehardalways Ya its a 5.7 (350) LS1 and t56 put in a 1992 Z28 camaro. dyno'ed 335hp at the wheels.

  • @doctorright there are tons of vids of deisel trucks killing vipers mustang 5.0s corvetts. Gas cars can't touch the tourque of deisels

  • @TheTrihorn1 they should be pulling with so much torque, not racing. if i see a fast diesel take off without blowing a puff of jet black over-fueling smoke... i'll be impressed...moderately, im far from a hippy... it looks diseased and dumb and not good for the motor to be over fueled so much. i'd rather see it in the pulls where they belong.
